Good morning,
We have had 25 kids the last two Wednesday nights and I’m so excited at how things are going. The kids are taking turns saying a prayer at the beginning and we have a time of worship before the lesson.
I wanted to go ahead and let you know we will be taking the kids swimming at a home in Lexington on July 1st. We will probably have one other “field trip” at the end of July as well.

Kids Ministry tonight- We will be looking at several “Firsts” in the Bible. If your child has a Bible, encourage them to bring it. We do have plenty at church as well.
Small snack provided.

Tonight we will be taking the kids outside to play Gaga ball. Sneakers would be better than flip flops or sandals.

I'm super excited about the summer with the kiddos at FBC Lexington. We will have a couple of field trips built-in and I'll post those dates and locations after get started next week.

We will have a set lesson for both Wednesday nights and Sunday nights this summer so I pray you make church priority not only for your kids but for yourself. Your example will be as important if not more than anything I will teach them this summer.

Please Share with all your parent friends who may not have a church home for their kids this summer.

We will be having a kids lock-in once school is out. Date will be announced this week. This will be for having just finished 2nd-6th grades.

Due to Spring Break and youth have cancelled class tomorrow, the kids will not have any activities either. Remember the Easter egg hunt Saturday at 4:00.

Play practice is canceled due to the movie night and kids/parents wanting to see it.
Next practice is Friday from 5-7.

Due to the baptism tonight, there will not be Christmas Play practice. I would like to do a 2 hour practice the Friday after Thanksgiving. Please let me know if your child will be available from 4:00-6:00 that afternoon.
