He is Risen! Alleluia! 🙌
Throughout this holy season of Lent and the solemnity of Good Friday, we have shared in His suffering and tribulation — and now, as Scripture reminds us, we receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

We are delighted to share with you a beautiful interpolation of the beloved hymn "I Shall Wear a Crown," from yesterday's Easter mass performed by our St. Peter Claver choir under the direction of Michael Elery, with Dr. Charles Little accompanying on the organ.

We are also inviting our parish family to share in building our community archives! Submit your Easter photos and photos from past parish events for use in our bulletin, social media pages, and website. Your memories help tell the story of our faith community together.

Lexington weather has us all fooled one day it feels like spring, the next we’re back in our winter coats😄. Unlike Easter, warm weather doesn’t seem to be in any rush! But plenty IS happening at St. Peter Claver, so here’s what’s coming up:

Our Stations of the Cross — Mary’s Way of the Cross — continues this Friday, March 20 at 5 p.m. Join us for this prayerful Lenten devotion as we walk with Christ toward Holy Week.

Also mark your calendars for Friday, March 27! We have two great reasons to be at SPC that evening. Stations of the Cross returns at 5 p.m., and our Annual Fish Fry runs from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. — fish, cole slaw, baked beans, and hushpuppies for $15 (dinner) or $8 (sandwich). Tickets are on sale after Mass this weekend. Food will not be served without a ticket, and carryout orders over 10 should call 254-0030 one hour before pickup.

Finally, to our graduating seniors — the Ladies and Knights of Peter Claver are offering their 8th Annual Book Scholarship to a graduating high school student from our parish. The application deadline is May 17, 2026. Contact Grand Lady Valerie Jenkins at (954) 292-3110 or Grand Knight David Young at (859) 361-5372 for more information.
God is good all the time.
