But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

The Lord looks at the heart, you might be able to deceive humans with your appearance or composure but is your heart right with Him?

[4] Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you,

[5] for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.

Don't fall to the trap of the false teachers, know the word and watch what you listen to. The lord will grant anyone that seeks Him an understanding of His word.

Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.

The Lord's blessings are on those that obey Him, they're victors and His presence is always with them.

So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.

God's promise is sure, it will surely come to pass. All we need do is to wait patiently in faith and endure.
