Historic Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church Our church was established in 1790 by a former slave named Peter Durett affectionately called “Bro. Captain”.

We are a bible based Church and Jesus is the head of our House.

WE are One: A Community Renewal, Refreshing & Revival is happening this Sunday starting at 4 at Douglass Park!

WE are still looking for singers, musicians, ensembles and choirs. Christian comedians, therapists, and prayer warriors are also wanted.

We have approximately 10 pastors/churches committed and have room for nearly 20 more.

A prayer tent for prayers that do not cease will be set up.

Don’t wait to be asked, but volunteer to be a part of lifting the spiritual roof off of Lexington! Volunteer today! And share if you care. Cya there!

WE are One: Prayer, Praise & Prophecy In The Park is an outside the walls revival event happening at Douglass Park to reset the tenor, tone and spiritual atmosphere as we close out Summer 2026. As a revival event, it starts at 4 pm on the blue court and goes until. TGBTG
