A well deserved award brother Bailey!

Special Olympics Maryland athlete, Bailey Mewhinney was recently named Knight of the Month by his local KofC Council 9968! This recognition reflects his dedication to serving on his church's and his outstanding leadership with Special Olympics Maryland as both an Athlete Leader and athlete. Bailey is incredibly proud of this honor, and we are proud of him too. Congratulations, Bailey!

I am a better Catholic man today than I was when I joined this council. I am honored and blessed to have had the privilege to serve as the Grand Knight for the past two years. Brother Knights, lovely ladies, beautiful children,
On Veterans Day, November 11th, we honor those who have served in our armed forces for their courage and dedication. As Knights of Columbus, let us reflect on the virtue of patriotism and follow the example set by Veterans through service and sacrifice.
Remember those who gave their lives, pray for those still serving, and thank all Veterans in our community. If you are a Veteran, we sincerely appreciate your service.
May God bless our Veterans, their families, and the United States of America.
