Our next Honoree of Friendship Black History is Deacon Harvey Lee Williams. A little tough for me. He was a true servant-leader, teacher, giver, and about that business. We were taught many lessons out in the fields as we worked. He loved family gathering and always had a story to tell. Oh how we miss him but thank God for all he meant to the Friendship, Rondo, Lagrange and Marianna communities. I could go on but these onions for my eyes watery (lol). Please help me celebrate Deacon Harvey Williams.

Our next Honoree of Friendship Black History is Deacon Andrew (Bruh) Stewart. Soft spoken guy with a big heart to serve. During the week he would service your vehicle, but on Sunday you would find him at Friendship serving the Lord. He seemed a little shy but when you got to know him, you knew he was full of fun and laughter. A Deacon, Usher, and a most of all a faithful servant. Help me celebrate our brother Andrew Stewart. Well it's been a long time coming but help me celebrate this man of God as another one of Friendship Black History. Pastor A.L. Woodson was a mainstay of Friendship's Homecoming for years. I used to love to hear preach and holla. Short in stature but powerful in his anointing. Again, help me celebrate the life, love and legacy of Pastor A.L. Woodson.

Well let me honor this Diva. Our next Honoree of Friendship Black History is Ms. Erma (Jean Baby) Watson. Mentor, Homecoming Worship Leader, Mayor and on and on. Sweet as can be, but stern too. One of the few people who I think really understood my grandfather and helped teach us how to become good productive men and women. Miss her dearly.

This cool striding Pastor is next Honoree of Friendship Black History Pastor G.G. Brown. What a preaching machine and my most memorable moment was seeing him lay on that floor simulating Jesus being buried and rising from the grave. I came to receive Jesus under his preaching at our revival.
