First Lewisville is a United Methodist church of the Horizon Texas Conference. This church was established in 1879 and has become a place of hope for many seeking refuge and support. First Lewisville is working with our local communities and across the world. We have a sp

ecial connection with Sierra Leone and have been helping a medical clinic in Taiama. As part of the United Methodist Church, a global denomination, we share in the mission to make disciples for the transformation of the world.

Vacation Bible School is seeking donations for kindness bags, which our students will assemble to support local communities. Donations will be collected through Sunday, May 31.

Donations include:
Mini shampoo and conditioner
Deodorant
Comb/brush
Individual snacks: chips, cookies, granola bars, applesauce cups/pouches, fruit cups, protein bars, individually wrapped beef jerky sticks, etc.
Pop-top cans or pouches of tuna, chicken and vienna sausages
Individual size hand sanitizer
Toothbrushes
Toothpaste
Small packages of baby wipes
Small bottles of sunscreen
Water
Socks - Men and Women
Canvas bags - this is new this year because we want to be able to give people an actual bag to carry these things and keep it for future use.
