Some seasons feel invisible. You keep showing up, carrying responsibilities, fighting quiet battles, and wondering if anyone notices. Scripture reminds us that God does. Long before Hagar called Him El Roi, the God who sees, He had already seen her pain, heard her cry, and met her where she was. That same God has not changed. 🙌🏼

👉🏼📖 Psalm 139 reminds us that there is nowhere we can go where God is not present. He knows your thoughts, your fears, your prayers, and every detail of your life. Nothing about your story is overlooked by Him!

If you have been feeling forgotten lately, let this encourage you today. You are fully known, deeply loved, and never out of God's sight. He sees you, He is with you, and He is faithfully working even when you cannot yet see it. đź’™

The most dangerous bait doesn’t look dangerous. 👀

If temptation showed you where it would eventually lead, it wouldn’t be nearly as tempting. Instead, it often looks harmless. It promises a quick mood shift, a little relief, or something you can enjoy “just this once.” That’s why discernment matters.

Jesus said the thief comes “to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” God takes sin seriously because sin destroys people He loves. So when something pulls you away from what you know is right, don’t judge it only by how good it looks or how good it feels in the moment. Look at where it leads.

Some poison tastes good. That doesn't mean it's not still poison.

👉🏼 What’s one practical way you guard yourself against temptation when it looks harmless?

There’s something special about calling Lewisville home. From familiar faces around town to neighbors who quickly become friends, we’re grateful to be part of this community!

And as United Family Church, we want to do more than simply gather here. We want to LOVE our neighbors, LEARN God’s Word, and LEAD people to Christ through the way we serve our community. 🙌🏼

So here’s a challenge for your week: Find one simple way to bless someone right here in our community. Buy the coffee. Check on a neighbor. Encourage a teacher. Invite someone to dinner. Pray for a local family.

Small acts of love can make a big difference. Let’s love Lewisville well. 💙

You type the text. You reread it. Then you delete it because inviting someone to church suddenly feels way more awkward than it should.

What if they say no? What if they think you’re being pushy? What if the conversation gets weird?

Or, what if they’ve been thinking about coming to church but didn’t want to walk through the doors alone?

You aren’t responsible for their answer. You’re responsible for being willing to ask. Sharing your faith doesn’t always begin with a deep conversation where you have every answer. Sometimes it begins with, “Hey, I’m going to church tomorrow. Want to come with me?” 🙌🏼

Think about the person whose name just crossed your mind. Don’t overthink the invitation. Send the text and let God handle what happens next.

And if you’re the person who has been thinking about coming back to church, consider this your invitation. Join us at United Family Church tomorrow. There’s a seat for you. 💙

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is delete the app. 📱

Jesus taught us to take temptation seriously. If something repeatedly pulls you somewhere you don’t want to go, don’t keep giving it easy access to you!

So delete the app. Block the website. Move the phone out of the bedroom. Whatever the trigger is, put some distance between you and it.

That’s not weakness. That’s recognizing what has gained too much control and doing something about it. 🙏🏼
