The Door Church will be about proclaiming Christ crucified for salvation, sanctification,consummation by preaching through books of the Bible. The Bible is all about Jesus pointing to his perfect work at the cross. We want to be a church on mission:
The Door Church will be a community of believers on mission. Scripture tells us that we

are all entrusted with the gospel of Jesus Christ and God is making his appeal through us to the world. This is demonstrated by the fact that all Christ followers are sent to be advocates for Christ and to share this great message in their daily rhythms of life. We want to be a church that is incarnational:
The Door Church wants to be Christ to the community. We want to partner with the city government and the school system to engage in the hurting/broken areas of the community. We want to be a church that walks in community together:
The Door Church wants to be a church that is known for its love for one other. We will have gospel communities that will cultivate biblical community with each other. This will be life on life for prayer, reproof, correcting, and training to be more like Christ. We want to be a church that is about multiplying out:
The Door Church wants to be a church that is growing mature followers of Christ to send out into ministry. We want to help mobilize church planters and to support foreign missionaries to see the Kingdom of God advanced by the gospel.

Grace changes everything. It brings forgiveness for what’s behind us and freedom to follow Christ moving forward.

We don’t have to clean ourselves up first. We don’t have to earn our way back. Jesus meets us with grace and calls us to follow Him.

God is moving at The Door Church! 🙌 We are seeing incredible growth at both campuses. To make room for more people to hear the gospel and meet Jesus, we are moving to THREE Sunday gatherings at the Lewisville campus starting September 6th!

Here is the new schedule for the Lewisville campus:

⏰ 8:30a & 10:00a— Identical worship and preaching, featuring TDC Kids.

⏰ 11:30a— Identical worship and preaching, no TDC Kids at this time.

The gathering times will remain 9:00a & 10:30a at the Argyle Campus.

We’re so expectant for what the Lord is doing in our community- see you September 6th!

We spend so much energy trying to control outcomes, plan the future, and guarantee results. But Ecclesiastes 8-11 delivers a humbling truth: man doesn’t know what is to be. No amount of wisdom, strength, or planning can make us sovereign over our own lives.

The good news is that we were never meant to carry that weight. God is sovereign. Jesus Christ is Lord. And when we stop white-knuckling our lives and fall at His feet, His response isn’t condemnation. It’s “fear not.”

A bittersweet Sunday at TDC as we prayed over Mark and his family and sent them out on a new gospel mission. 🤍

We’re so thankful for the many ways God has used Mark at The Door Church to serve, lead, and point people to Jesus.

Now, Mark and his family are heading to Arizona to join Doxa Church and continue the work of building God’s Kingdom.

Mark, we love you, we’re cheering you on, and we can’t wait to see all that God does through you in this next chapter—for the gospel, for the Kingdom, and for His glory.
