Grief and suffering are inevitable. When agony strikes, where do you find solace? The Father's throne of grace offers mercy and strength. Don't wallow; pour out your heart and trust Him. He may not change circumstances, but He will sustain you.

Don't pretend or use platitudes when grief strikes. Pour out your heart to God, be real about your pain, and let Him in. He already knows, but wants your honest expression.

Jesus understands our human struggle. Our spirit may be willing, but our flesh can be too weak to do what we want. He calls us to stay awake and pray, especially when sorrow, weariness, or pain make us spiritually drowsy.
