When the Bible says we shall be “caught up to meet the Lord in the air” the Greek word actually means rapidly taken up and a different Greek word is used for Jesus ascension, and the same word for Elijah‘s Ascension, and still had another Greek word for when the Bible describes two workers in the field the one shall be taken and the other left.
To say that the rapture is not biblical, someone would need to clarify WHICH rapture they do not believe occurred, or will occur.
There are actually at least three future raptures spoken of in the New Testament specifically Believers before Daniel 70th week and the elect during the tribulation as well as those that receive the mark are the ones experiencing the rapture two women grinding at the mill the one taking the other left … as it was in the days of Noah …Till the flood came and took them (the unbelievers) away. Almost instantly, when the United States Constitution protected religious liberty, theology flourished and many missionaries were sent out, and Christian organizations launched. Now after 250 years groups are rising up asking “where is the promise of is coming?”
