Here are a few more candids from our last night of VBS! We hope all these sweet kids are having a great start to their school year! We’ve prayed for each and every one of you as you head into this new year. 🙏🏻

And that leads us to something pretty exciting… 👀 Starting in September, we have something new coming for any kids (grades 1st-12th) who want to keep the fun going, learn more about Jesus, and grow in their faith throughout the year!

It’s somehow already been a MONTH since VBS! 🌿🐒 Sorry it took me so long to get these pictures posted. It was so fun looking back through them, and way too hard to narrow them down 😂 so you’ve got lots to look through!

A huge thank you to Kona Ice of Peoria for coming out and treating the kids to shaved ice! 🍧 And of course, we had our annual pancakes & sausage night too! 🥞

Our Day 3 takeaway was “God Is Our Safe Place!” We learned that no matter what we’re going through, we can always turn to God and trust Him to be our comfort, strength, and safe place.

We’re headed into our last night of Rainforest Falls VBS tomorrow! We’ll wrap up an amazing week with our program for family and friends at 7:30 PM, and we can’t wait to share everything the kids have learned!

In the meantime, here are some photos from Night 2! 📸 Check out one of the hilarious games we played (there’s truly never a dull moment at VBS)!

On Night 2, we learned that God knows everything. No matter what you’re going through, even when you feel like no one understands or cares, you can trust that God knows you completely and loves you more than you can imagine.

Vacation Bible School is in full swing at Maples Mill Church! 🌴🌿🐒🌺

We’re heading into Day 3 tomorrow, and we’ve been having so much fun that we’re a little behind on sharing photos! 😄So, please enjoy these snapshots from Day 1!

On Day 1, we learned that God is our Creator! We discovered more about God’s nature, who He is, and what it means to be God’s friend.

One of the most rewarding things in life is using what we have to help others. ❤️

This crew packed 757 Tender Mercies bags at Midwest Food Bank this week. That’s enough to help feed over 3,000 people in need! 🥹

Each Tender Mercies bag contains a nutritious meal fortified with protein, vitamins, and minerals. The meals only require water and cooking, making them especially helpful for families affected by tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, and other disasters when access to food and kitchens may be limited.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to partner with Midwest Food Bank a couple times each year and do our small part in serving others.

We didn’t let the rain stop us from having a blast at our church picnic at Faith Bible Camp. And by rain… we mean an absolute DOWNPOUR! 😂🌧️

Every kid’s dream is getting to splash in puddles and get covered in mud and that’s exactly what they got to do yesterday! I’d say we made some memories we won’t forget.

But what made the day extra special was watching three, beautiful girls make the decision to be baptized. There is truly nothing sweeter than seeing young hearts choose to follow Christ. Our church family is so proud of Opal, Carly, and Elliott. What a beautiful reminder that following Jesus is the greatest decision anyone can make.
