Right now this ministry is limited to online presence. James Milford, who has served as a pastor, mental health worker, and is currently licensed and ordained as a pastor at large. He has attended and served churches of several denominations. The goal is to become a more Christ like Christian not a specific denomination. Even though ordained, He believes in a community of believers to live life wi

th. There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), who is infinitely perfect (Matthew 5:48), existing eternally in three persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit ( Matthew 28:19)

2. Jesus Christ is true God and true man (Philippians 2:6-11). He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary(Luke 1:36-38). He died upon the cross, the just for the unjust (1 Peter 3:18), as a substitutionary sacrifice (Hebrews 2:29), and all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood (Romans 5:9). He arose from the dead according to the Scriptures (Acts 2:23,24). He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our great High Priest (Hebrews 8:1). He will come again to establish His kingdom of righteousness and peace (Matthew 26:64).

3. The Holy Spirit is a divine Person, (John 14:15-18) sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower the believer, ( John 16:3) and convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment (John 6:7-11).

4. The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice. ( 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:15-16)

5. Man was originally created in the image and likeness of God: (Genesis 1:27) he fell through disobedience, incurring thereby both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature, (Romans 3:23) are separated from the life of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:20-23) The portion of the impenitent and unbelieving is existence forever in conscious torment; (Revelation 21:8) and that of the believer, in everlasting joy and bliss. (Revelation 21:1-4)

6. Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men; and those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God. (Titus 3:4-7)

7. It is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be sanctified wholly, (1 Thessalonians 5:23) being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service. (Acts 1:8) This is a progressive experience wrought in the life of the believer subsequent to conversion. (Romans 6:1-14)

8. Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the mortal body. (Matthew 8:16-17, Romans 8:11) Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures and are privileges for the church in this present age. (James 5:13-16)

9. The Church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, (Ephesians 1:22,23) which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the Gospel to all nations. (Matthew 28:19-20) The Local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for the edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the Gospel, and the observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper. (Acts 2:41- 47)

10. There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust; for the former a resurrection unto life; (1 Corinthians 15:20-23) for the latter, a resurrection unto judgment. (John 5:28-29)

11. The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ will be personal, visible, and pre-millennial. (Luke 21:27) This is the believer's hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service (Titus 2:11-14).

Week 185

Day 5

Joh 11:45-57 Therefore many of the Jews, who came to Mary and saw what Jesus did, believed in him.
(46) But some of them went away to the Pharisees, and told them the things which Jesus had done.

Day 1 What was the reaction of those who witnessed the miracle?

(47) The chief priests therefore and the Pharisees gathered a council, and said, “What are we doing? For this man does many signs. (48) If we leave him alone like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation.”

Day 2 What spiritual truth are you ignoring because you are worried about you position, job, reputation, etc. ?

(49) But a certain one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them, “You know nothing at all, (50) nor do you consider that it is advantageous for us that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation not perish.”

Day 3 What was the prophesy that the high priest spoke?

(51) Now he didn’t say this of himself, but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, (52) and not for the nation only, but that he might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.

Day 4 What was Jesus mission on earth and how did it align with this prophesy?

(53) So from that day forward they took counsel that they might put him to death. (54) Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews, but departed from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim. He stayed there with his disciples.

Day 5 Jesus was not avoiding his death, he was waiting for the correct time. As a Christian do you fear your death or are you prepared for the right time?

(55) Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand. Many went up from the country to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves. (56) Then they sought for Jesus and spoke one with another, as they stood in the temple, “What do you think—that he isn’t coming to the feast at all?” (57) Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had commanded that if anyone knew where he was, he should report it, that they might seize him.

How to study the Bible?

Each time we study, we will answer the following questions:
1. What is the truth about God that we learn?
2. What is the truth about us that we learn?
3. How does my life line up with the truth I have learned?
4. Why does my life not line up with this truth?
We will consider all these elements of faith through
1. Prayerful meditation- asking for the revelation and enlightenment of the Holy Spirit
2. Daily review of the truths
In many people, who claim to be Christians, there is a huge disconnect between what the Scriptures plainly teach and what they claim to believe and how they live their lives. As we progress through our weekly studies, we will explore our personal beliefs and actions against God’s Word the Bible
Each week a passage or a section of the Bible will be posted with daily meditations.
The idea is that we will take small tidbits to meditate on and then combine into a foundation for belief and practice. Do not try to rush the process let yourself experience the truth of God.
1. Pray and invite the Holy Spirit to reveal truth to you.
2. Keep two notebooks with you as you meditate on Scripture.
a. The one is for any truth you feel is being revealed to you
b. The other is for what I call distractions – the things of life that pop into your head as to what you need to do today. Write them down to deal with later and return to your meditation
3. Meditate daily on the scripture passage – read it at least three times, reflex on it
4. Meditate on the daily focus
5. Thank God for his Word even if you do not feel you are getting anything out of it today.
1 Philippians 2: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. [12] Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. [13] For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Week 184

Day 7

Joh 11:17-44 So when Jesus came, he found that he had been in the tomb four days already. (18) Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about fifteen stadia away. (19) Many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to console them concerning their brother. (20) Then when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary stayed in the house. (21) Therefore Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you would have been here, my brother wouldn’t have died. (22) Even now I know that, whatever you ask of God, God will give you.”

Day 1 What was Martha saying about Jesus?

(23) Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” (24) Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” (25) Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. (26) Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (27) She said to him, “Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you are the Christ, God’s Son, he who comes into the world.”

Day 2 Jesus talks to Martha, who does he say is the resurrection and the life?

Day 3 Jesus asks Martha about the personal resurrection, what declaration does she make in her answer? How is this significant?

(28) When she had said this, she went away, and called Mary, her sister, secretly, saying, “The Teacher is here, and is calling you.” (29) When she heard this, she arose quickly, and went to him. (30) Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was in the place where Martha met him. (31) Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and were consoling her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, “She is going to the tomb to weep there.”
Day 4 What assumption did the crowd make when they saw Mary get up to leave?

(32) Therefore when Mary came to where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying to him, “Lord, if you would have been here, my brother wouldn’t have died.” (33) When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews weeping who came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, (34) and said, “Where have you laid him?” They told him, “Lord, come and see.” (35) Jesus wept.

Day 5 Jesus being human was touched by the emotions we face? How was Jesus touched by the grieving of the crowd?

(36) The Jews therefore said, “See how much affection he had for him!” (37) Some of them said, “Couldn’t this man, who opened the eyes of him who was blind, have also kept this man from dying?” (38) Jesus therefore, again groaning in himself, came to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone lay against it. (39) Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” (40) Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”

Day 6 Was it more important for the people to know Jesus could heal or that Jesus had authority over death? Which brought more glory to God?

(41) So they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, “Father, I thank you that you listened to me. (42) I know that you always listen to me, but because of the multitude standing around I said this, that they may believe that you sent me.” (43) When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” (44) He who was dead came out, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Free him, and let him go.”

Day 7 What do we learn from this passage? Jesus relationship to the Father, Jesus capability over death, Who Jesus was and is today.
