Is God speaking? Yes. The question is: Are you listening?
Samuel heard God's voice three times before he recognized it. Like tuning an old radio through static, we need to intentionally tune into God's voice. He's calling your name, but the world is noisy. Maybe you need to turn on worship music during your commute, take a quiet drive, or simply go back to the last place you heard Him clearly.
God speaks through His Word, through godly counsel, and through that persistent thought you can't shake. He wants to give you assurance, direction, and opportunities. But unrepentant sin can silence His voice in our lives.
"My sheep listen to my voice. I know them, and they follow me." - John 10:27
Stop covering your ears. Tune in. Recognize His voice. And when He calls, respond like Samuel: "Speak, Lord. Your servant is listening."
