A new year dawns in quiet grace,
Fresh mercy meets each moment’s pace.
What was is healed, what comes is bright,
God walks with us into the light.

One day, one breath, one prayer sincere—
Faith renews us year by year

After Christmas

When the lights are dim
And carols cease,
The Child remains—
Our lasting peace.

No manger now,
Yet still He stays,
Born in our hearts
To shape our days.

Christmas fades from sight,
But not from grace;
For Christ still walks
Our common place.
