Have you ever looked at the way someone else serves God and wondered if you need to be more like them to be useful?
I have.🤚
I need to speak as boldly as they do.
Know as much as they know.
Have a testimony as powerful as theirs.
Make an impact as visible as theirs.
Saul’s armor may have looked like the right equipment for battle, but it wasn’t made for David!
David had to put it down and walk forward with what God had already placed in his hands.🤲
There’s a lesson in that for us!
God doesn’t need a second version of someone else.🚫
He knows YOUR personality, YOUR experiences, YOUR limitations, and YOUR gifts - 🗣️ and none of those things disqualify you from what He has called YOU to do.
This doesn’t mean we never grow, learn from others, or allow God to stretch us.
It means growth shouldn’t require pretending to be someone we’re not.
You don’t have to copy someone else’s voice to speak truth.
You don’t need their platform to make an impact.
You don’t need their story for God to use yours.
Be teachable. Be willing. Be faithful.
Then trust that the same God who called you knows exactly how He created you. 🤎✝️🙏
