What a tremendous weekend! We are grateful for the success of the William the Translator: Celebrating the 500th Anniversary of the Tyndale New Testament conference.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who attended in person or joined us online. We are especially thankful for our speakers, Bryan, Alex, and David, for the countless hours of research, preparation, and teaching they contributed.

Together, we explored the remarkable life, work, and lasting legacy of William Tyndale—whose courage, conviction, and extraordinary translation efforts helped give the English-speaking world the word of God in its own language and laid the foundation for the King James Bible.

This sermon continues a study through "The Bible: The Big Picture," focusing on the essential principle of rightly dividing the word of Truth as instructed in 2 Timothy 2:15. We establish that while all of Scripture is for every believer's benefit, not all of it is addressed to every believer in every age. God's revelation has unfolded progressively across time, and faith has always been required for salvation, but the content of that faith has differed according to what God revealed at each point in history. The sermon emphasizes that salvation has always been by grace through faith, never by works, and that in the current dispensation of grace, salvation is entirely apart from any human effort or merit. Works-based additions to the gospel -- whether water baptism, law-keeping, or any other requirement -- corrupt the pure grace of the gospel. The sermon also introduces the theme of Christ as the creator over all creation, both in heaven and on earth, with the expectation that all things will one day be gathered together under His authority.

"The modern versions say the same thing — they just remove archaic words." Do they?

This week's message walked through a practical, hands-on comparison of the Amplified Classic and the King James Bible, showing how tools like Blue Letter Bible and parallel Bible features can help any believer evaluate what they are reading.

The differences uncovered were not minor. From Matthew 5:22, where the phrase "without a cause" is removed, making Christ's righteous anger appear sinful, to Hebrews 3:16, where a complete reversal of meaning changes who among Israel was faithful, the evidence raises serious questions about whether modern versions truly say "the same thing."

The word of God is complete. It gives you everything you need to understand it. Be a diligent student of Scripture. Recognize that Satan's primary warfare in the current age is doctrinal in nature. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
