Happy Friday GP family! We hope you are enjoying the beautiful fall weather as September comes to a close 🍂🍁

As you prepare your grocery lists this weekend, would you prayerfully consider including a few items for our Open Table ministry as you are able? Many in our community are struggling and rely heavily on the blessings that this ministry is able to provide, thanks to the generous donations from our local brothers and sisters in Christ. Current needs include:

•Spaghetti sauce
•Dry pasta
•Jelly
•Canned chicken
•Flour
•Sugar
•Ketchup
•Mayo

In addition, while you are cleaning out your closets, we would be grateful for your clothing offerings. The next Open Table clothing ministry is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th. We are in need of FALL/WINTER clothing (only these seasons please, as we do not have the space to store warm weather clothing until next year), coats, and accessories for infants thru adults (all sizes!). If you have gently-used (clean, stain/tear free) items, please help us fill the bins for those in our community who could use a little warmth both literally and figuratively as we approach colder temperatures. Folded and bagged donations may be placed in the wooden boxes in the church foyer.

Thank you in advance for your support of our Open Table ministry, and may you all be richly blessed ✝️

Total Health will host its first Total Health Day at Pastime Park in Plain City on September 19th. There is a fitness challenge fundraiser that will support our ministry along with encouraging our supporters to stay fit and healthy. The fitness challenge is for people of all abilities so anyone can sign up for it. After the challenge there will be a DJ, 7 bounce houses including 2 bounce house obstacle courses, numerous food trucks, and an outdoor giant screen to broadcast the OSU game, so bring the whole family! The weather forecast looks beautiful, and it’s sure to be lots of fun!
