Back in July we collected funds to support the Lord’s work being done through our friends at Common Ground Free Store Ministries. Today we used some of those funds to help with their current needs - toilet paper & body wash. God is good! 🙏🏻

⏰ New Worship Times Begin Tomorrow!

Beginning tomorrow, Sunday, October 4, our Sunday morning worship schedule at Lewis Center UMC is changing slightly:

Traditional Worship — 8:45a
Contemporary Worship — 10:30a

Why the change? That extra 15 minutes between services gives us more room for fellowship, conversation, and connection between worship services. It also gives our pastors, musicians, AV team, ushers, and other volunteers the time needed to transition the sanctuary and prepare well for the next service.

So set that alarm 15 minutes earlier if you’re joining us for Traditional Worship! And whichever service you attend, we hope you’ll leave a little room in your Sunday morning to grab a cup of coffee, say hello, and spend some time together in the LC Café.

See you tomorrow at 8:45a or 10:30a!

Something new is coming for churches across East and West Ohio!

Launching October 1, 2026, Ignite Ohio Grants will help UM churches ignite imagination, build momentum, and connect with Ohio’s changing mission field.

With multiple grant categories, there’s an option for every church in Ohio to take your next faithful step. Bonus funding is available for new ministries reaching communities identified as priorities on the District Strategy Team (DST) maps.

Churches can also get help developing their vision through Zoom whiteboard sessions and an imagination guide.

Watch for details at IgniteOhioGrants.org. Start dreaming about what’s next!
