Unity Service: On Sunday, May 24th, at 10 a.m., we’ll come together as one church family for a special Unity Service. We’re inviting everyone from both our traditional and contemporary services to worship together in unity, celebrating our shared faith, worship experiences, and community. Memorial Flag Day Display
Beginning Friday, May 23, at noon through Sunday, May 25, at sunset, Lewis Center UMC will honor fallen military, police, and fire heroes, as well as active duty military, first responders, and veterans, with a large flag display on our church grounds.

Church and community members are invited to stop by, pay their respects, and add an honor card to the display. Honor cards will be available on site.

We are also looking for volunteers throughout the weekend to help with:
-Working the guest table
-Preparing food for volunteers
-Walking among the flags and assisting guests
-Providing support through our Medical and Safety teams

We will also be collecting gently used household items for Support Our Veterans Co., a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping homeless Ohio veterans move into safe housing. Jim Alloway’s trailer will be at the church throughout the weekend to receive donations.

This Sunday, we begin Grace in Action: Loving Others on Purpose, and we’ll send everyone home with a simple first week challenge: choose three people you regularly interact with, pray for God’s love to shape you, and practice one small act of intentional love.

A text. A word of encouragement. A patient response. A moment of listening.

Small acts of love can make Jesus visible in everyday life.

The Lewis Center Water Warriors are back for our 12th annual Global 6K for Water, with the mission to bring life-changing clean water and fullness of life to children in communities around the world. The 6K distance is equal to the average distance kids have to walk to access clean water.

💧Join us at Glen Oak Park at 9AM on Saturday, May 16 to walk, run, bike, scooter or skate your 6K with us, or on your own whenever and wherever you want! Kids and pets are welcome. Each registration provides lasting clean water to a child!
