PLEASE join us for services this Sunday, May 24. I am feeling much better & ready to CELEBRATE the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles of Jesus, Mary, and other followers of Christ. Service begins at 9:00 AM & we meet in the fellowship hall. Coffee & social time following service.

NOTICE: There will be no services at Grace Lutheran at Lewellen on Sunday, April 26. Our worship leader is attending a family memorial in Wyoming. We will be back May 3 at 9:00 AM. Hope to see you!!

Almighty God, who is our strength and our refuge; be with those who are affected by this fire, guide those who evacuate so that they may find care and comfort in a safe place; protect their homes, their pets, their livestock, their neighbors, and their friends, so that they may return home to a loving community. We ask you to be with all those who have lost their homes to wildfire, comfort them in their distress, strengthen them for the journey ahead, and sustain them with your loving embrace, that they may find a sense of home once again. And guide us to be generous in this Lenten season of giving to share our blessings with them. And we ask that you please protect the firefighters who keep coming back fighting, though they are weary. We ask all this in the name of your son Jesus Christ, who heals the sick and restores the lost. Amen.
