🍂 Walking with God Wednesday 🍂

✨ Don’t Dim Your Joy Just Because Others Don’t Share Your Excitement! ✨

Have you ever been so excited about something God is doing in your life, only to share it with someone and be met with silence, little enthusiasm, or a response that wasn’t quite what you hoped for?

Here’s your reminder today: Don’t allow someone else’s reaction to steal the joy God has placed in your heart! ❤️

Not everyone will respond with the same excitement, understanding, or enthusiasm that you have, and that’s okay! Everyone processes things differently, and sometimes people need time to understand, reflect, or find their own way to celebrate alongside you.

But their timing doesn’t have to determine your happiness.

🌿 You don’t have to shrink your blessings to make others comfortable.

🌿 You don’t have to question your excitement because someone else isn’t showing theirs.

🌿 You don’t have to let a lack of response turn a beautiful moment into disappointment.

Give others the grace to respond in their own time, while giving yourself permission to be happy right now!

God’s goodness in your life doesn’t become any less meaningful because someone else hasn’t acknowledged it.

📖 Psalm 118:24
“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

So this Wednesday, celebrate your blessings, embrace your happiness, and trust that the people around you will process things in their own way and in their own time.

Your joy is not dependent on someone else’s reaction. Your joy comes from the Lord! 🙏❤️

💙🙏 PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH! 🙏💙

Today, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate someone who is truly the heart of so much of what we do here at Thornridge Community Church — Pastor Dave! ❤️

Being a pastor is so much more than standing behind a pulpit on Sunday mornings. It’s the countless hours of hard work, the sacrifices that often go unseen, the prayers prayed when no one is listening, and the unwavering dedication to serving God and His people.

Pastor Dave, THANK YOU!

Thank you for your commitment to God and for allowing Him to lead you, even when the road isn’t easy.

Thank you for your heart for the community beyond the walls of Thornridge. For recognizing that the church isn’t just a building, but a calling to love, serve, and reach those who need it most.

Thank you for loving the families within Thornridge, for walking alongside them through life’s celebrations AND struggles, and for making this church feel like so much more than a place to worship. You’ve helped make it a family. ❤️

And perhaps most importantly, thank you for NEVER GIVING UP.

Ministry isn’t always easy. There are challenges, difficult decisions, exhausting days, and moments when the weight of it all can feel overwhelming. But through it all, you continue to show up, stand firm in your faith, and trust that God has a plan bigger than anything we can see.

The truth is, Thornridge Community Church would NOT be where it is today without you. Your leadership, your sacrifices, your faithfulness, and your willingness to keep going even when things get tough have helped shape this church into what it is today.

You may not always see the lives you’ve touched, the seeds you’ve planted, or the difference you’ve made, but we promise you — IT MATTERS. YOU MATTER. AND YOU ARE APPRECIATED MORE THAN WORDS CAN EXPRESS! ❤️

We know that God isn’t finished with Thornridge, and we are so grateful that He chose you to help lead us through this journey.

🍂 FRIDAY FEELS | Thornridge Community Church 🍂

✨ A Little Faith for Your Friday! ✨

“Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 (ESV) 🙏

As we wrap up another week, here’s a gentle reminder: You don’t have to have everything figured out when you have God leading the way. ❤️

Sometimes we get so caught up in making plans, worrying about tomorrow, and trying to control every little detail that we forget who’s really in charge.

God isn’t asking us to have all the answers. He’s asking us to trust Him, surrender our worries, and invite Him into everything we do.

🍁 So as you head into this weekend, remember:

* Give God your plans.
* Trust Him with the unknown.
* Let go of what you cannot control.
* Have faith that He is already working things out.

💛 When we put God first, everything else begins to fall into place according to His purpose.

🍂 Walk With God Wednesday 🍂

Finding Peace in Letting Go of Control 🤎

One of the hardest parts of walking with God is learning to release control. We want answers, we want things to happen on our timeline, and we want to know exactly how everything will work out.

But sometimes, the peace we’re searching for comes when we finally stop trying to control everything and start trusting the One who already knows the outcome. 🙏

God never promised that life would be easy or that every situation would go according to our plans. But He did promise to walk beside us through it all.

Peace doesn’t come from having everything under control. It comes from knowing that God is in control.

Today, challenge yourself to surrender the worries, the unanswered questions, and the situations you’ve been trying so hard to fix. Give them to God, trust His timing, and allow yourself to experience the peace that comes through faith.

📖 Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us to bring our worries to God through prayer and thanksgiving, and His peace will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

🤎 Wednesday Reminder: You don’t have to figure everything out today. You just have to trust the One who already has.

🍂 Friday Feels | Faith Over Fear 🍂

As another week comes to an end, here’s a little reminder: God never promised that every day would be easy, but He did promise that we wouldn’t have to walk through it alone. ❤️

Some weeks test our patience, some challenge our faith, and others leave us wondering what God has planned. But even in the uncertainty, He is working.

Sometimes faith means trusting Him when things don’t make sense, finding peace when life feels overwhelming, and remembering that His timing is always better than ours.

📖 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

As you head into the weekend, release what you cannot control, give God what has been weighing on your heart, and remember that you don’t have to have everything figured out when you serve a God who already knows the way. 🙏

🍂 Walking with God Wednesday 🍂

Trusting God isn’t always easy, but obedience is where our faith grows. ❤️

Sometimes, one of the hardest parts of walking with God is surrendering control. We pray for His guidance, yet struggle when His plans don’t align with our own. We ask Him to lead us, but hesitate when He takes us down a path we don’t understand.

The truth is, having faith doesn’t mean we won’t have doubts, fears, or moments of uncertainty. It means choosing to trust Him even in the middle of those feelings.

Being obedient to God isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it requires patience, sacrifice, difficult decisions, and letting go of things we thought were meant for us. But obedience is an act of faith. It’s saying, “God, I may not understand what You’re doing, but I trust that You know what’s best.”

💛 Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us:

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (KJV)

🌿 This Wednesday, remember: You don’t have to understand every step God asks you to take. You just have to be willing to follow Him.

His timing may challenge your patience. His direction may challenge your comfort. But every step of obedience is an opportunity to grow closer to Him.

Faith is trusting God with the unknown. Obedience is taking the next step anyway. 🙏
