Yesterday, during our worship gathering, we got to explore the riches of James 1:2-4. It was there that we saw that joy in this life is a command. And not just joy in good times, but joy during suffering & hardship. We closed our time with this powerful truth. (Full message is on our media page as well as the CABC app)

We recently added a "Pastor's Blog" that can be found on our church website and within the CABC app. Each week, a new blog will published that will come from the desk of Pastor Tony.
The purpose of the blog provides an avenue for Bro. Tony to share some thoughts from the most recent sermon, maybe talk about things going on in our world/culture, or even share some insight and/or wisdom on Biblical topics. He hopes to post something each week...so be on the lookout for new content.

As we linger in between the worst day in history, preparing for the best day in history, we must remember why Christ died in the manor he died. It was public, it was tragic, and it was horrific.
But it was no secret that He was hated and despised (Isaiah 53:3) - therefore those who follow Him today should expect similar reactions.
Friday has Come. But Sunday is Coming!

One of the most well-known and celebrated Christian holidays is this weekend. But we can't get to the beauty & glory of Sunday, if we don't first have the sadness & horror of Friday.
We'd be honored to have you gather with us this Friday night @ 6:30pm for our first ever Good Friday service here @ CABC. We will be remember and reflecting on the significance of Friday as we consider the gruesome death of Jesus ..... which was the price to be paid for the sin of mankind. It is our hope that the events of Friday might help us feel the joy of the resurrection on Sunday! We hope to see you then.

Our sermon this past Sunday reminded us that God has complete authority & control over all things. Even as we are journeying through Holy Week and thinking about all that Jesus went through.... none of it was a suprise. And nothing took God off of His throne.

One of the core beliefs in the Christian faith is that Jesus is himself is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). But we live in one of the most interesting times in history where false truths and deception run rampant. As each day passes, it feels like those who believe in and fight for truth are the ones who are persecuted and made fun of.

As a follower of Christ, our hope is that you desire the truth, no matter what. Why? Because Jesus told us that the truth will set us free (John 8:32)!

We gather every week to proclaim this truth and celebrate the One who is faithful and true. We'd love to have you join us this Sunday @ 11am.
