Hey Family! Tonight is our last Wednesday singing worship for the semester. Don't worry about cooking... we got you covered. Hambugers and Hot Dogs will be served along with chips, cookies and drinks. Come be with family in fellowship.

At 6:45ish, we will head to the small auditorium for singing, worship and prayer. Come lift your voices with a thankful heart to our Lord. We hope to see you tonight!

Praise God! James had his gallbladder removed last week and his heart scan over the weekend was all positive news! Here is his latest post. It sounds like he is in good spirits!

Settled in at rehab! So thankful for the folks at UMC Health System. They took care of me for 28 days...Ollie started saying "Grandad's house..." in my room. 🏠 😊 I'll have so many good stories about good people. (It's helps me process!)👌🏼

Now at Trustpoint and equal parts excited and scared. These folks are good at what they do too and that's the scary part! 😆 😬

Cactus Drive family, don’t forget — this Saturday, May 2, from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM, we’ll be gathering for Picnic in the Park!

This will be a special time for us to enjoy food, fellowship, and worship together outside the walls of our building. We want to spend time as a church family, but we also want our Levelland community to see the love, joy and unity we share in Christ.

So pack up your lawn chairs, bring your family, invite a friend, and help us spread the word by sharing this post. Someone may be looking for a church family or simply a reason to be encouraged — and this could be the invitation they need.

We are meeting at the second awning where the yellow arrow is pointing. We can’t wait to see you there!

This Sunday is Senior Sunday!

Reminder—there is no Bible class this Sunday. We have senior tables set up in the large auditorium so that you can celebrate our seniors, leave them a note of encouragement and a gift if you choose. Breakfast, drinks and fellowship begins at 9am. One of our seniors is now hugging Jesus, but in his memory, you can donate to his memorial. Checks can be made out to Tucker Parkinson Memorial Fund.

We hope to see everyone early to celebrate and congratulate our seniors!

From Tim Kinnard—James Kinnard’s son:

Dad has moved into a different unit that is not an ICU, so that’s positive! He’s dealing with a couple of infections and blood bacteria both discovered and addressed on Thursday. Things are continuing to move forward with dealing with them.

There are a couple of procedures (port, surgeries, etc.) doctors are shooting to execute this coming week if some markers pan out with the infection and kidneys.

Still a bit of a journey to be had, but inching forward nontheless!

Please pray specifically for his kidneys, infections, and trust to lean into the process!
