Today, we proudly celebrate our very own Magdalena Guillen on earning her Bachelor of Theology from Life Christian University!

Magdalena is much more than a graduate—she is a living testimony of God's redeeming power. There was a time when addiction and incarceration seemed to define her future. But through the grace of God, she experienced true transformation and chose a new path in Christ.

Today, she stands as an overcomer, a leader, a minister, and a faithful servant of God.

As one of Freedom In Jesus Prison Ministries' most dedicated volunteers, Magdalena has faithfully led many of our Spanish Crusades, sharing the hope of Jesus with incarcerated men and women and helping others discover the same freedom that changed her life.

Her story reminds us that our past does not determine our future. God is still in the business of restoring lives, healing hearts, and raising up leaders from places the world least expects.

BLESSED IS THE NATION WHOSE GOD IS THE LORD

As we celebrate Flag Day, we are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. But today is more than a celebration of our flag—it is a reminder to pray for our nation.

America needs God's hand.

We pray for our leaders.
We pray for our churches.
We pray for our families.
We pray for our communities.
We pray for correctional officers, prison staff, chaplains, and volunteers.
And we pray for the thousands of men and women behind prison walls who desperately need the hope and freedom found in Jesus Christ.

God's answer for our nation has never changed:

"If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." — 2 Chronicles 7:14

Today, let us humble ourselves before God and pray for spiritual awakening across America.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He chose for His inheritance." — Psalm 33:12

May God bless America.

HUGE PUSH! WE'RE HALFWAY THERE WITH ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT!

Our 30K in 3 Months Campaign has reached the halfway mark—but the mission is not finished.

"God Doesn't Consult Your Past to Determine Your Future." — Derek Prince

Many men and women behind prison walls carry the weight of their past every day.

Mistakes.
Failures.
Broken relationships.
Lost years.

The world may define people by their worst decisions, but God sees something different.

As Derek Prince wisely said:

"God doesn't consult your past to determine your future."

That's the message we bring into prisons across America. Through Bible teaching, discipleship resources, correspondence, prison revivals, and digital outreach, we remind incarcerated men and women that Jesus is still transforming lives.

We've seen people discover hope where there was despair, purpose where there was hopelessness, and freedom in Christ even while living behind bars. Stories from those we serve consistently remind us that no life is beyond God's reach.

The Gospel is still changing lives.

BEHIND THESE WALLS, GOD IS STILL CHANGING LIVES.

This weekend, Freedom in Jesus Prison Ministries will be sharing the hope of Jesus Christ at the Clements, Smith, Dalhart, and Wheeler Units across Texas.

For many incarcerated men, these services may be the first time they've heard a message of hope in a very long time. Some will hear that God loves them. Some will encounter His presence in a life-changing way. Some may surrender their lives to Christ for the very first time.

One inmate wrote after a Freedom in Jesus crusade:

"The Holy Spirit was present—inmates know the real thing and that revival was real."

“The Crusade services last weekend were amazing! I want to especially thank Stephen, Cassidy and Jennifer. I have been lifted up in so many ways. I have been set free and now I know, I say, ‘Any day now!’ …My life has been very difficult too, like theirs…I had been suicidal on Friday when the Crusade started, that’s why I had no laces in my boots when I saw you all, but I came to church Saturday. God spoke to me through you three. Thank ya’ll for saving me, and for reminding me God is a forgiving God and loving Father. God bless ya’ll. I pray I get to see ya’ll again. And also that one day I may be able to tell my story, and with it, touch someone. I want to show them no matter what your sin is God will forgive!”

THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE DOESN'T JUST LOVE YOU—HE WANTS YOU CLOSE.

Every now and then, a truth feels so good that it almost seems too good.
Not because it's complicated.
Because it's personal.

Most of us have no trouble believing God is powerful.
We believe He created the heavens and the earth.
We believe He performs miracles.
We believe He answers prayer.

But sometimes the hardest thing to believe is that He genuinely wants a relationship with us.
Not a distant acknowledgement.
Not a reluctant tolerance.
Not a once-a-week appointment.

A relationship.

I've seen men and women behind prison walls sit quietly after hearing that truth for the first time. Not arguing. Not debating. Just letting it sink in.

The same God who hung the stars knows their name.
And somehow, He knows ours too.

Maybe that's why stories of transformation never really begin with changed behavior. They begin when someone finally realizes they are deeply wanted by the Father.

I've never stopped being amazed by that!
