Prayer Lake Ministry is a non-profit Retreat Center designed and purposed specifically for those looking to get away from all the busyness of their lives and to get alone with God. Our focus and vision is to provide the Body of Christ an oasis away from busy schedules, a quiet, anointed place to pray and enter into spiritual rest. This facility is used for prayer, restoration and communion with Go

d. We are here so you can “come aside by yourselves and rest awhile” (Mark 6:31). Prayer Lake Ministry was started by John & Joy Mounger in 1995. God placed the vision on their hearts to prepare a place for people to come and meet with Him. They started with what they had: their home and the “Red Cabin” which was originally used as a hunting camp when it was built in the late 1920’s. Then they proceeded to give their all to furthering the vision. Since then the Red Cabin has been expanded and updated to accommodate 30 guests. Additionally there are 6 individual cabins for couples and individuals and RV hookups for those who want to get away and spend some quiet time with the Lord. We are located in Lettsworth, LA .You need to call our office at 225-492-2281 to make your reservation so make plans to spend time in the presence of the Lord!
