Leslie United Methodist Church Faith and grace in our lives We have open hearts, open minds and open doors in our neck of the woods of Searcy County, Arkansas.

We are seeking to love God and neighbor and letting the Good News of Grace shine forth in our lives. We worship together every Sunday morning at 11 am. We pray together most Wednesdays at 6 pm. We do a lot of other stuff during the week... We have a pew with your name on it!

It's time for another "Shake the Dust Off" hiking trip!
We will hike the Pinnacle Mountain Base Trail this Saturday, April 25th. After our hike, we'll have lunch at Vino's in downtown Little Rock. We'll leave from the Clinton church at 8:00 am.

Here is some information on the Base Trail...
BASE TRAIL
This trail is blazed in light green.
Starting at the West Summit Trailhead,
approximately 50 yards up the trail you will
encounter the Base Trail. You can choose to
hike the Base Trail clockwise around Pinnacle
Mountain by going left or you can go right
to make the Base Trail loop around the
mountain in a counterclockwise direction.
This 3-mile trail circles the entire base of
Pinnacle Mountain and conveniently connects
the West Summit Trailhead with the East
Summit Trailhead. While hiking the Base Trail
you will encounter intersections at the West
Summit Trail, East Summit Trail, and Ouachita
Trail. The Base Trail is fairly level and offers
dramatic views of the Little Maumelle River.
Visitors will encounter several moderate
slopes, a wide variety of plant communities,
and a diversity of wildlife.

What is Mission u?
Mission u is a transformative educational program that encompasses both Bible-based curricula and events. All are welcome to engage with either or both components of Mission u.

Interested in deepening your faith in community? Gaining experience interpreting Scripture? Working toward healing for yourself, your community, and all of creation? Mission u is for you!

Each year, United Women in Faith develops three justice-focused Biblical curricula for adults, youth, and children, all on a common theme. In 2026, our theme is Experiencing Emmanuel. Our focus on developing three curricula around one common theme means that Mission u offers a unique opportunity for faith communities to create powerful intergenerational learning experiences.

Mission u 2026 will be at Hendrix College. Save the date for July 29 - August 1, 2026
