🏠 Family Sunday! ❤️
What a GREAT morning we had this past Sunday celebrating family as Pastor Ben and Dawn talked about what it means to truly love your neighbor — starting right in your own home.

We had so much fun with our object lesson, building houses out of boxes labeled with the things that make a strong, healthy family: LOVE, PATIENCE, GRACE, KINDNESS, FORGIVENESS, SERVING, and so much more. 🏠

But the most important reminder was that no matter how many good things we add to our family, the foundation has to be Jesus. 🙏❤️

When Jesus is our foundation, we can love when it’s hard, give grace when we’re frustrated, forgive when we’ve been hurt, and choose patience when we’re running out of it.

Our families may not be perfect, but when we build them on Christ, we have a foundation strong enough to stand through every season.

Love your neighbor. Start at home. Build your family on Jesus. ❤️🏠✝️

We have been partnering with the Annual Fall Festival in Leslie for the past 4 years. Each year we have a "hydration station" for the festival attendees. We set-up a tent in the square offering water, love and the joy of Jesus. Our volunteers also offer to oversee bounce houses and help craft vendors unload and set-up in the morning.
