It's Not Over!
Luke 5:1-11

We look forward to worshipping our Lord and Savior with YOU tomorrow morning! Pastor Sunny will be bringing a Word from Luke chapter 5, verses 1-11, with the focus and title of the message being, "It's Not Over!" Your empty net is not your final destination. When you feel exhausted and ready to quit, listen for the voice of Jesus telling you to cast your net one more time. With Him, your story doesn't end in failure—it’s not over!

Phase 2 IN-WORK: We are on to the next phase of our refurbishment! ALL glory and praise to God! Painting and wall-paper removal is mostly complete and flooring will begin in a couple of weeks! (And a HUGE thank you to our precious Bob LaDuca for his tireless efforts to assist - we LOVE you, Bob!)

If You Only Knew
Luke 19:41-44

Praise God from Whom ALL blessings flow!! We are overjoyed to get to worship our divine Creator with you all tomorrow - to praise His holy name, and to join together to encourage and edify one another. Tomorrow morning, Pastor Sunny will be coming from Luke 19, when Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Jesus weeps because people routinely miss out on true peace, love, and salvation, simply because they fail to recognize God moving in their lives until it is too late. Don't miss Him in your life, nor opportunities to worship and serve Him! See you tomorrow morning!

A back to school prayer, from Leonardtown Nazarene:

Tonight and this week, we pray for the Moms, Dads, and guardians that are feeling some anxiety, mixed with excitement, for the new adventure their children are about to embark on. From Kindergarten "scaries", to Senior Year "lasts", we lift you in prayer. Know the Lord sees YOU.

We pray for the parents and families of those that sent a piece of your heart off to college. We ask the Lord to cover them in His protection and grace as they journey onward and make decisions that direct their paths, and may they seek HIM in all things! We lift you and your students in prayer. Know the Lord sees YOU.

We pray for ALL of the children in our church, and our greater community, as they start gearing up for school to start. May you rest in the confidence that you are exactly who the Lord created you to be, that you are loved, and that you can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you. We lift you in prayer. Know the Lord sees YOU.

We pray for the teachers, the staff, the bus drivers, the administrators; may the Lord guide you, renew and refresh your "why", and may you step into this new year confident in your calling to education and BE a light for these precious youth in your midst. We lift you in prayer. Know the Lord sees YOU.

We pray for the Homeschool families - as they begin, or continue in an already started "year". For the Mommas - HE hears your prayers. For the kiddos, may you settle in to a beautiful rhythm of "school" and follow instructions seamlessly. We lift you in prayer. Know the Lord sees YOU.

And finally, we pray for our community, that we will be a source of continued encouragement, and a bright shining light of JESUS to all of those around us when it comes to our counties education. May we not be quick to judge when things happen on campuses, and to extend GRACE to all parties. Our schools are over-crowded, we all know that... so let's be kind, gracious, and of service in any way we can, to those in your circle. May we seek the Lord in doubt, concern, or confusion - HE knows the answer and is a WAY maker!

You are loved, known, and seen by our Father in Heaven, and we lift YOU in prayer!

The Master's Touch
Mark 8:22-26

Tomorrow morning, Pastor Sunny will bring a word from Mark chapter 8; a message on the power and beauty of The Master's Touch! In Mark 8, Jesus heals the blind man at Bethsaida, but like us believers, we often experience phases where our spiritual vision grows dim or incomplete, requiring a continuous or renewed touch from Christ to restore deep peace and understanding. We look forward to worshipping with you and pray the Lord will move powerfully for all that join together in the gathering!

Before the Sand Runs Out
John 7:25-44

Have you ever looked at the date and time and felt a sudden sense of panic? Perhaps it alerted you to how fast the week had flown by, how quickly a looming deadline was approaching, or made you realize that your kids are growing up entirely too fast—or that you're getting older! Ah, if there was just more time! In our sermon passage tomorrow (John 7:25-44), we will see how Jesus reminded everyone at the festival that time was running out for them, too. He warned them to have a sense of urgency for the sake of answering that all important question for themselves: “Who is Jesus?”

Tomorrow, it is my prayer that Jesus’ words will bring that same sense of urgency to our hearts, not only with regard to who we believe He is, but in how we choose to respond to the gospel with the remainder of the time that He has blessed us with. I look forward to worshiping with you tomorrow! - Pastor Mike
