This morning, I got a message from Marianne on our page.

She asked if I have the crucifix with the encapsulated soil of the Holy Land.

I sent her a picture of the 3 different sizes and styles I carry.

She was happy to see the beautiful art pieces.

She asked if the soil was from Jerusalem or Bethlehem and wanted to know more about our store and the products. I answered her questions to the best of my ability.

She told me she posted my picture on her page.

She wants to spread the message of peace and devotion to our God.

I have one thing to add to her prayer: no matter your religion, the belief in PEACE is universal.

It is easy to lose sight of the meaning of why we do take time to recognize the actual simplicity that can be found amidst all the chaotic frenzy. Psalm 100 v 4 offers us a solution to guide us through "Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him; bless his name." By keeping this in mind, we can begin to be guided by love rather than using extravagant gift-giving as a way to show monetary riches.
