6th Ave Kids Presents: God Bless America!

We are excited for our kids to participate in a special presentation on Sunday, July 5th! Our 6th Ave Kids (ages 5–12) will be singing “God Bless America” during the service.

We've already begun practicing on Wednesday nights and will continue working on the song over the next few services. For any kids who would like to participate, we'll also have a special practice during Sunday School in the Family Life Center on July 5th.

We would love for all participating kids to wear patriotic colors—red, white, or blue—as we celebrate together!

Parents, we hope you'll encourage your children to join us for this special moment. We can't wait to see our kids use their voices to honor God and celebrate our country!

Sixth Avenue Kids is happening TONIGHT, and we can't wait to see everyone!

Doors open at 6:30, and if your kids want to eat, bring them a little before 7:00 so they'll have time to grab some food and hang out before class starts.

Tonight's lesson is called "Mine", and we'll be talking about sharing and putting others first.

We're also trying something new for the summer! All of our kids will be together in the gym for the entire evening.

Class starts at 7:00, so invite a friend and come join us. It's going to be a great night at Sixth Avenue Kids!

Get ready for an unforgettable week as we explore the nature of God through exciting Bible stories, fun games, creative crafts, and plenty of laughter! Kids of all ages are invited to join us for an amazing rainforest adventure at Sixth Ave Church of God.

📣Reminder! Our Family Worship Sunday has been moved to this Sunday, May 31, instead of June 7!

All children K–5th grade will be in service with us as we welcome our new Children’s and Families Pastors, Caleb and Nikki Gann, to the Sixth Avenue family! We are excited to worship together as one church family on this special Sunday. 🎉

Children’s Church will resume on June 7. Nursery and preschool classes will still be available this Sunday.

We can’t wait to see everyone there!

Please join us in giving a huge Sixth Avenue welcome to our new Children’s and Families Pastors, Caleb and Nikki Gann and Jovie, Thatcher and Ellie!

We are so excited to have them joining the Sixth Ave family and can’t wait to see all that God has in store through their ministry. Their hearts for Jesus, for children, and for families are already such a blessing, and we know they are going to make a tremendous impact in our church and community.

Caleb is a Tennessee native, pastor’s kid, and ordained bishop in the Church of God who has spent the last 16 years serving in ministry in roles including youth pastor, worship leader, family life pastor, and lead pastor.

As a family, they love serving the Lord together and believe ministry happens both inside and outside the church walls through relationships, encouragement, and simply doing life with people. The Gann’s value authenticity, discipleship, and creating a church atmosphere where people feel loved and welcomed. Outside of ministry, they enjoy spending time together, making memories as a family, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols!

Caleb and Nikki, we are so thankful the Lord has led you and your sweet family here. We are praying for you, cheering you on, and believing for an incredible season of ministry together at Sixth Avenue!

Today we celebrate all the amazing moms, grandmas, stepmoms, foster moms, bonus moms, and mother figures who love so big and give so much every single day. 💖

Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, hugs, rides, support, patience, and the love you pour into your families. You are seen, appreciated, and deeply loved!

We are so thankful for each of you and the difference you make in the lives of our kids. 🌸

What an incredible time at our Old vs Young basketball game! 🏀

Thank you to everyone who came out to play, support, and cheer! This was more than just a game, it was fellowship, laughter, and memories made. From the energy on the court to the smiles in the crowd, it was truly something special.

Shoutout to both teams for bringing the fun and friendly competition y’all made it unforgettable! And thank you to everyone who helped make it happen behind the scenes.

We’re so thankful for a community that shows up and shows love like this. Already looking forward to the next one! 🙌🏀
