✏️The countdown for back to school is on! 📚

🎒Blessing of the Backpacks is this Sunday! 🎒This includes kids of ALL ages, including the kids at heart who teach or work at a school- being your laptop, bag, or something else if you prefer.

🐟🥖 Matthew 14:19— A lesson on Thanksgiving, Provision, and Abundance 🥖🐟

While we do not claim to be on the same level as Jesus feeding the 5,000 with 2 loaves of bread and 5 fish, we DID serve a record number of people for this summer’s Make it to the Lake events!

It was absolutely AWESOME! We were prepared to serve about 90 people tonight and welcomed over 200. We ran out of just about everything, yet nobody went home hungry—— see the connection to Matthew 14??

Thank you to everyone for joining us for the beautiful evening at the lake!

Special thanks to——
1) Our youth for exceeding our expectations once again & the adult volunteers who jumped in to lend a hand or run for more supplies
2) The Brinkman, Gubrud, Heller, and Larson families for providing the supplies
3) The Lengby LIC for coordinating these wonderful summertime events
4) Above all else, thanks be to God for bringing us all together and for making sure nobody went hungry 😊
