Good morning Family. I woke up with a heavy heart with Mary, Jesus's mother on my mind. Years ago, I attended "The Stations of the Cross" at St. Peter and was brought to tears by the complete realization that Mary watched her baby boy be crucified for the remission of our sins and she never said a word.
I don't remember how far along the walk we were when it hit me; I always knew that Mary was there but to know that she watched her baby being stripped naked and beaten, being forced to carry his cross through the streets, she watched as the drove iron nails through his hands and feet and hung him on a cross and she watched as they placed a crown of thorns on his head. I wept and I still weep when I think about it. Oh, Mary did you know?
I read a friend's post on FB this morning and she said that she was grateful to Mary for letting her baby boy die on the cross so that her baby boy could run free; it touched my heart.
We should all be grateful to Mary and take some time to read her story; a young virgin, impregnated by the Holy Spirit, she traveled by donkey, while she was very pregnant and gave birth in a stable. Oh, Mary did you know?
I encourage you all to remember Mary in your prayers. If you don't know Jesus and you want to know him; read your Bibles and get to know him and experience his love for you!
