Good evening Family. I would like to ask you to pray for our military members who are serving in the Navy. Brooklynn Oatis is aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. They are on their way back home and finally got off the ship in Thailand after 280 days out to sea. Brother Martin has headed over as part of a crew to relieve the Lincoln. Please pray for their safety.

Brooklynn is living the life that her grandmother, Sister Nelson prayed for. Her life also reminds me NOT to put God in a box because he can and will bless you in ways that you can never imagine! Who would have imagined that Brooklynn, who was raised in Lanier by a praying Grandmother would be sailing aboard a Naval vessel in the Indian Ocean? God KNEW!

Praise The Lord Family! Jaden is back from the UK where he completed his Masters Degree in Psychology and Mental Health. Please pray that he can find gainful employment to help him fulfill his dreams!

Most gracious and heavenly Father, we thank you for watching over Jaden, for helping him to complete his degree and for bringing him home safely to his family. God we are asking that you order his steps, guide him to a place where he is gainfully employed and where he can use his degree to be a help to others. Father, we ask that you bless him and provide for him and protect him Lord. God bless his family as well. Father, give him the courage to pursue his career and help him to step out on faith knowing that you will always be with him. Remind him Lord to come to you when he is uncertain, remind him to PRAY expecting you to answer his prayers. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we thank you and praise your name as we ask for these blessings for Jaden. Amen!

Hi Family, This is just a reminder that we will not have Bible Study this week. Please continue your study in "Experiencing God" and we will meet again next week. In the meantime, look around your community to see where God is already working and look for an opportunity to join Him in his work! Have a blessed week!

Praise The Lord EVERYBODY! Young Avila Irene Martinez gave her life to the Lord and was baptized last Sunday.

Prov 22:6 (NKJV) Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

Father God in heaven, we ask that you will bless Avila and watch over her. Keep her safe in her home and when she is away from her parents. God build a hedge of protection around her, keep her safe at school and God let her find favor in here Teacher's sight. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth we pray and ask for these blessing for Avila. Amen

Mt. Olive hosted its monthly Family Movie Night. We watched "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids." It was a good time of fellowship. Thank you to everyone who came out and watched the movie with us. I would like to extend a special thank you to Sister Sherry. We had several members out and Sister Sherry stepped in to help with the preparations to make Movie Night a success! I would also like to say thank you to everyone who pitched in and helped clean Fellowship Hall after the movie. Thank you once, thank you twice, thank you in the name of Jesus Christ!

The Smith Family celebrated their annual Family Reunion culminating with a Church Service at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Services were officiated by Dr. Ernie Smith. "I can only image" that Richard and Dora Smith were dancing in heaven at the sight of their children. grandchildren and great grand-children attending service in a Church that was started in their home years ago! The Smith Family filled an entire side of the church and we had a marvelous time praising the Lord! Thank to everyone in the Smith Family for joining us for morning service. Deborah Smith

Psalm 37:25 (NKJV) I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.

On June 26th, the Pastor hosted our first movie night for the summer. We watched the movie "Ratatouille," had pizza, popcorn, snacks, and a wonderful time of fellowship. I think some of the adults enjoyed the movie as much as the kids did. (I heard y'all laughing)đŸ˜‚

Thank you to those who organized, set up Fellowship Hall, served our little people and helped clean up. Team work makes the dream work! Thank you Jesus for letting us have a great evening of fellowship.

Dr. Ernie Smith delivered a wonderful message on letting our light shine for the Lord. As always, he had a visual! He put on his hat that had lights on it to make a point!

Matthew 5:16 "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
