VBS! VBS is going on now at McGrew Memorial General Baptist on McGrew Church road in Annetta! We had a great opening night last night but we still have several days to go, we welcome everyone to come and have classes for ages two to 200! Please remember that if your child is 5 years old or younger an adult must stay and be present in the building with the child. You may go to the adult class and do everything with the adults but you need to be available in case you are needed in reference to the child. Dinner is served each night to participants! Come and learn with us why Jesus is the most important ingredient in our lives!!

All kinds of items, come find a bargain! Proceeds will benefit our Christmas Shoebox Ministry to provide gifts to children in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. Thank you for your help in providing gifts and needed items to these families.

Good morning, God sure has created some beautiful and powerful weather. We have been getting forms of it since yesterday which has created some dangerous conditions. There is no Sunday school or worship service this morning at McGrew Memorial General Baptist. There is a lot of ice on the ground in the Anneta area, please be safe and stay inside if possible! Lord willing we will see everyone in church again soon ! We will keep you updated. Comment and let us know what things look like where you are...

As of August 2025, Pastor Charlie and Mary Smith have been dedicated servants to the Lord at McGrew Memorial General Baptist Church for 40 years! Words cannot convey what they mean to us, and only the Lord knows the many things they have done because they love the Lord. We are blessed to have Charlie as our pastor and Mary as our pastors wife, helper and our church momma. Today we had a big holiday meal and presented Charlie and Mary with a token of our appreciation and love in recognition of their 40 years. We are blessed beyond measure to be loved and led by them in the Lord.
