Good morning, God sure has created some beautiful and powerful weather. We have been getting forms of it since yesterday which has created some dangerous conditions. There is no Sunday school or worship service this morning at McGrew Memorial General Baptist. There is a lot of ice on the ground in the Anneta area, please be safe and stay inside if possible! Lord willing we will see everyone in church again soon ! We will keep you updated. Comment and let us know what things look like where you are...

As of August 2025, Pastor Charlie and Mary Smith have been dedicated servants to the Lord at McGrew Memorial General Baptist Church for 40 years! Words cannot convey what they mean to us, and only the Lord knows the many things they have done because they love the Lord. We are blessed to have Charlie as our pastor and Mary as our pastors wife, helper and our church momma. Today we had a big holiday meal and presented Charlie and Mary with a token of our appreciation and love in recognition of their 40 years. We are blessed beyond measure to be loved and led by them in the Lord.

Thanking God for the wonderful movement of the Spirit today and all the testimonies and message this morning. So incredibly thankful for our church family and our pastor Charlie Smith!

Family Game Night at McGrew! Saturday Oct 11 5-8pm
Bring your favorite game to play with others, or play one of the ones we already have there and enjoy an evening of old-fashioned fun and fellowship!
We will have pizza and hot dogs too.

Tomorrow is the big day! Our association picnic/ hayride is almost here! Even better? We are having a worship service! Many have asked if we will be eating indoors or outdoors and I wanted to let you know we will be eating in the fellowship hall. We know it is going to be quite warm and we will have a few activities outside including the hayride but you can eat and visit in the comfort of the fellowship hall.
We sure hope to see you there! We always look forward to getting to see our brothers and sisters in Christ!
We will have pulled pork and pulled chicken, coleslaw, homemade mac and cheese, iced tea (sweet and unsweet), homemade lemonade from real lemon juice, and whatever goodies that all of you bring to share!

This Wednesday night, 9/10/25, we will not be having church service. The church is being used for a funeral of a member of our community. See you Sunday morning!

Thank you to everyone who came for the picnic today! We had many that came and went throughout the day and it was great to see all of you! Horseshoes, redneck golf, lots of food and fellowship. Hope to see you at church in the morning!

Just trying to get an idea of how many people to expect Saturday so we know how many hot dogs and hamburgers we will need. Come join us on Saturday, August 30th for a church picnic! 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. we'll have grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, bring a lawn chair, a side dish, and any outdoor games that you would like to share and play! We love to have you!
