Strength we all want it But we still feel weak.where dose it come from si it from exercise conditioning yes said that for this my strength is not mine alone my strength comes from god .in Philippians 4:13 I CAN DO all things in through Christ who strengthens me.he is my strength he is shield he fights for me even when I don’t have strength he he helps me.when I pray that is my conditioning my exercise for the strengthening my faith in whom I CAN do all things cause with out him I can do nothing so Today you may feel weak overwhelmed or just out right defeated .just know that’s when god is working you may not feel like he is he is working on your behalf he is strengthening you he is conditioning you for your situation condition what I am saying is no matter what you are facing you feel all is lost IT IS Not he is preparing you for the victory just keep your faith and pray. God has your heart trust me when I say he will bring you through it. I know this if god brought you to it he will get you through it amen.

I would encourage you today what ever your going through or the uncertainty of what we think the outcome is just know that god is with you and walking with you and ahead making your path straight. Stay focused on Jesus what you are going through is not who you are. What you’re in dose not define you what defines you is the way you come out of your circumstance. With yourhead held high knowing you did your best knowing god brought you out . May god bless you and keep you . From your pastor with love . Love all of you

***Update*** Due to threat of inclent winter weather and for the safety of everyone that wished to attend the famliy has decided to move the memorial service to Sunday February1, 2026 at 2pm

Rana Terry, 54, met her loving savior on January 16, 2026 She was a strong, loving, and compassionate woman whose faith and kindness were felt by everyone who knew her. Rana faced each day with hope, holding tightly to God’s promises. Throughout every battle she faced, she continued to give glory to God, trusting fully in the miracle she knew awaited her.

Her Heavenly Father saw fit to grant her ultimate healing in Glory. There, she is reunited with her parents, J.L. and Louise Hayes, and her sisters and brothers; Carolyn Tharp, Denice Hayes, Rebecca Hayes, Johnnie Hayes, and Linda and Donnie Hendon.

As a loving and devoted wife of 36 years, she leaves behind her husband, Bennie Terry; their children, Codie Terry, Tyler Terry, and Haley Terry. To her grandchildren she was a lovingly known as Nay Nay, a role filled with endless love and cherished moments.
She was a friend to many and a pillar of faith to all. Her presence was a blessing to all who knew her. Though her absence leaves the deepest of aches, her legacy of faith and love will live on in every life she touched.

Romans 8:28
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

A memorial service celebrating Rana’s life will be held at New Sockwell Baptist Church Friday, January 23, 2026 at 4 pm. Brother Jamie Ridinger will be officiating.

*****Time and Day of service is subject to change due to threat of dangerous winter weather conditions*****

Sometimes I catch myself waiting for peace to show up after the storm passes, after the problem is solved, after my heart can finally rest. But the truth is: peace isn't a finish line or a reward for control. Peace is a person. Peace is Jesus, sitting with me in the middle of my mess, unbothered by the chaos and the unknowns.

So, Lord, teach me how to stay close to You right here in the waiting room, in the 'not yet.' Help me not to let fear for tomorrow keep me from Your presence today. Let Your peace fill every corner of my anxious thoughts, like You promised:

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you... Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” : John 14:27

Some days, it feels like the mountain is too steep. The gap between where I am and where I want to be seems impossible. But, Lord, Your word says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Not on my own: never on my own. This strength, it’s not always loud or flashy. Sometimes it’s just enough hope to breathe, or a steady hand on the stormy nights. I confess the times I’ve tried to handle everything myself and ended up worn out. Today, I choose to lean on You. What feels impossible for me is possible with You. If anyone else is feeling tired or overwhelmed, remember: you’re not alone here. Let’s keep moving forward, even if all we manage today is one small act of faith. Christ’s strength is enough. Philippians 4:13.
