Join us this Sunday, August 23 at 10 AM for Adventure Awaits Sunday! 🦋🌴

VBS students and their families are invited to join us as we celebrate the success of Rainforest Falls VBS and kick off a new school year! We’d love to see our VBS families back with us for a special morning of worship, celebration, and fellowship! 💚

📚 Rally Day — September 13 at 9:00 AM
It’s time to kick off a new year of Sunday School! Join us at 9:00 AM for Sunday School, followed by worship at 10:00 AM. We can’t wait to grow, learn, and worship together!

⛪ Official Merger Celebration — September 27
A very special day is coming! On September 27, we will celebrate the official merger as Zion Lutheran Church becomes Our Savior Lutheran Church–Leigh. ❤️

🌿 **Adventure Awaits Sunday – August 23, 2026!** 🌿

Join us as we celebrate an incredible Vacation Bible School and kick off a brand-new school year! Everyone is welcome as we give thanks for all God has done and look ahead to the year ahead.

We'd especially love to see our VBS families back! Our VBS children are invited to help us sing a special song during worship.

God Sightings 👀💚

They are all around us—we just have to take notice!

During VBS, we invited the children to share their “God sightings,” and our poster quickly filled with reminders of God’s love, kindness, beauty, and presence all around us.

This week, we encourage you to slow down and look for your own God sightings. Whether it’s a kind word from a friend, the beauty of creation, or an unexpected blessing, take a moment to recognize the many ways God is at work in your everyday life.

With 80 children joining us over two days, Rainforest Falls VBS was a huge success! 🌿🌧️

Our students learned that God is our Creator, God knows everything, God is our safe place, God is love, and God is forever. It was a joy to hear our church filled with songs of praise and excitement as children grew in their faith.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated supplies and snacks, and helped make these two days possible. And thank you to the children who made VBS so special—we loved sharing this adventure with you!

We’d love to invite everyone to Adventure Awaits Sunday on August 23 at 10 a.m., where our VBS students will share one of their songs as we celebrate the start of a new school year together!

Our youngest groups got to make rain sticks and it sure sounded like the rainforest in our building today! We are also thankful that God sent us real rain today too!

🌿 A quick look at Day 1 of Rainforest Falls VBS! 🌿

What a wonderful day it was! With more than 70 students, our building was filled with energy, laughter, singing, and praise to God. We learned, played, created, and grew together as we explored God’s amazing creation.

Missed out on today? No worries—you can still join us tomorrow from 8:30–11:30 AM! We’d love to have you come along for the adventure. 🌎🦜🌴
