Weakness often feels like you're far from God. Struggle seems like punishment. Discomfort feels like you're not following God's plan. And that's exactly what the devil wants you to believe. 👇🏽

You're not looked down on because you're going through something. God isn't waiting for you to finally break so He can outcast you. He's there with open arms to comfort you in your weakness. He's not an apathetic, heartless being. He is our Father who understands our struggle.

Don't believe the lie that your weakness is failure to God. Because it just might bring you closer to Him. 💙

Becoming a disciple is mandatory for followers of Jesus. It's not optional. That's why Matthew 28 is so clear for us to go make disciples of all nations. Discipleship didn't stop with the 12 disciples who lived and learned from Jesus. It continues through us.

Don't be scared of being a disciple. 💙

If we actually believe the Gospel is good news, then it should change the way we interact with the people around us. We should live with the awareness that the person sitting next to us at work, the cashier checking us out, our neighbor, our friend who seems like they have everything together, and the person we disagree with all desperately need the same Savior we do. 👇🏽

So what does that actually look like?

It means starting conversations instead of waiting for someone else to bring up faith. Ask your coworker how they’re really doing. Ask what they believe. Ask what gives them hope. And when the conversation opens up, don’t be afraid to explain how Jesus has changed your life.

It means being intentional with people who don’t know Jesus. Invite your neighbor over for dinner. Get coffee with the coworker you’ve only ever talked to about work. Go to the birthday party. Remember someone’s name. Ask about their family. Show up consistently.

It means not being ashamed of Jesus. Talk about what God is teaching you. Invite someone to church. Tell someone you're praying for them, and actually do it. Let people know that following Jesus isn't just for Sunday mornings. 💙

The person who is difficult to love needs Jesus.
The person who annoys you needs Jesus.
The person who looks successful needs Jesus.
The person who has completely different beliefs than you needs Jesus.
The person you would never expect to walk into a church needs Jesus.

So don't just go through your week surrounded by people who need Jesus. Go into your week looking for them. 🙌🏽
