WHY DO I FEEL SO EMPTY?

We all experience emptiness in our lives. Especially when see other people’s ministry blossoming and see how God is doing marvelous things in and around them. It’s so easy to go and POUR into someone else’s cup but it’s so hard to sometimes poor unto yourself. We’ve all felt our backs up against the wall, especially in today’s world where it’s so easy to feel LOST. It’s so easy to get caught up in this world. The selfishness, lust, social media, the keeping up with the joneses. We must remember that in the midst of the CHOAS, God asks for SEPERATION. SEPERATION from the world, family, spouse, job, social media, friends and even sometimes your ministry.

In Genesis chpt 1 we see the word “SEPERATION” used at least 5 times. The very first thing God separated was light from darkness. In the same way you must seperate yourself from darkness. Separate yourself from sin and remove it. The there shall be light in your life, in your home, in your family!
The very next thing God does is separate the waters from the waters. If you ALLOW him, he will separate you, Cleanse you and set you free from your problems/addictions BEFORE he can deposit any seed. Although SEPERATION hurts, it’s a necessary action that must be taken because if it’s not taken your seed(blessing) would be over take by the waters. God cannot deposit into chaos. He could not deposit the flying birds into the waters nor the great sea creatures onto dry land without properly separating its ENVIRONMENT! Your ENVIRONMENT is your biggest problem. It’s killing you. 1 Corinthians 15:33 states, “bad company ruins good morals.”

All through the Bible we can read stories of how God can turn the impossible to possible if we would just hand him over ours lives and live SEPARATELY for him. He will FILL YOU. Fill you with his love. Grace. Mercy. Most importantly fill you with the Holy SPIRIT. Hear his call and open the door and watch your life be filled!

I decided that after taking on the challenge of (which made me really excited) that I would take a break and not continue it. So I took a break from socials.

For a second I started to feel unworthy about my story because I couldn’t let go of something that in respect to another person was EATING at me. Words hurt more than people would ever know. And I realized by NOT letting go of the fear of what people would think if I posted too much or too little I decided subconsciously right then and there I would fail, at the cost of who? Them? No. 👎 Myself.

I was on a little retreat with one of my best friends and came across this — I had no idea this sign was at Magnolia, but I know as I drove to Texas I spoke with God intimately about my journey, and I expressed how I felt not worthy because of what a person said about my journey years ago….And God straight up was like LET 👏 IT 👏 GO 👏

Your story is YOURS, Your story will help others, empower others, especially when they need that reminder that faith in God is REAL. Walking in Obedience is equivocal to walking in faith, when you choose to walk in faith you’re making the decision that everything is going to work for good because God said HE would work it out for those who LOVE him, who have been called according to HIS purpose.

I get it — it may be hard to see right now, it may be hard to see the light 💡 when all you see is chaos…but I urge you to cling unto HIM, let him be your light, let him be the peace that surpasses all understanding. Let his WORD ✝️ be the literal lamp to your feet. 🦶 You have a reason for living, there is hope for your life…

I promise I was once down in the trenches too, until I realized nobody but Jesus was coming to save me, so why not choose Him? You can’t keep self sabotaging in your struggles (this was a hard pill 💊 for me to swallow)

I came to a crossroad, I had to choose to die to my flesh and follow Jesus, or choose to follow the temporary pleasures of sin with the world.

I chose Jesus and chose to walk in my God given purpose. I will tell my story BODLY and you should too!

Happy April ♥️🫶

This month can we talk about surrender?

Our family had our lives hit a 360 when we finally decided that enough was enough with vicious cycles, lack of a full surrender, lack of obedience unto the Lord. Life isn’t perfect over here but our Father in Heaven that we serve is and we trust that He is working everything out for the greater good in our lives 🥹🫶

After being silent for some time we decided our story and walk with the Lord is not one that should be silenced. SN not here trying to step into any spiritual positions by sharing (not our intentions and don’t want anyone to run off with that thought again from misinterpretation) but rather just sharing the goodness of what God has done in our lives ♥️🫶🥹

Today Pastor Lee Brand Jr “Diving into the Difficult” spoke this comment and it really dazzled my mind…..

Many people walk around with heavy weight, and although perhaps I may not be able to put my hand on their weight bar, I can chant their name in my prayer room.

I can’t help but wonder if we’d really put this type of energy towards especially the work that other believers are doing rather than bashing them, or perhaps saying to them, I see what you’re doing, I see how much you’ve moved forward, I see how great you’re handling this, I see what you’re trying to start, how can I help? Can I pray? Or simply running to your prayer closet rather than taking matters and opinions into your own hands how much more unity and life you will see be produced.

I was challenged today, not dictated, to serve more within the body, it may be scary not knowing anyone there serving but serve and encourage others. I challenge you to do the same.

What/Who are you blaming for your downfall?

In Genesis 3:12-13
”Then the man replied. “The woman you gave yo be with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree and i ate.”
So the lord asked the woman, “ What is this you have done?” And the woman said. ”It was the serpent. He deceived me, and I ate.”

When the lord speaks to us he gives us clear instruction. It up to us to follow them through. In life we are always faced with temptation and we have to learn to resist the the urges of this flesh.
James 4:7 “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
In many ways WE end up falling short and end up blaming our neighbor or blaming our addictions. WE have to STOP and ACKOWNLEGE that we have to take ACCOUNTABILITY for our actions. Mathew 16:24 “Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
Many of us have stopped serving Christ due to favoritism in the church or to the hypocrisy of todays Christian’s. Although it may seem like a valid EXCUSE, before God it won’t be. We cannot let the events around us affect our mind. In Mathew 14:29 it says, “Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Let us learn from Peter’s mistake and lets not allow the winds of this world to take our sight from our creator because by doing so we will begin to sink. Many of us feel that the currents were to strong and ripped us from our savior, but God shows us all we have to do is CRY OUT and he will immediately save us. Verse 31 says, “Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
Let us surrender the things that are causing our downfall, The things that are taking our vision away from our creator and surrender it to him.

God bless all who may come across this page. The Lord has placed in my heart to create this page so that can we come together as one body in Christ; this is to be able to uplift and help one another in areas of struggles or areas in which one may want to grow. A lot of us are on different paths/points when it comes to our walk in Christ. Some of us might be starting our walk and are unsure about certain topics in the Word, one may even be afraid to bring it as a topic amongst the congregation. Others might just need a more detailed explanation of a topic that the congregation simply doesn’t spend enough time on. Whatever hiccup, question or need one has, feel free to post a question on a certain topic you would like for us to discuss together as a body of Christ. (In accordance with the word of God of course.) Feel free to share the page, although you may not need it someone on your friends list might. Let us have a safe environment where we can come together as one body to build up one another.

Just as it says in Hebrews 3:13
“But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.”
