Our post will have the yearly Oratorical Contest on Saturday, January 31st.
We will hold it in the Post Hall at 10:30 AM.
Please come and support our local high school students when they give their constitutional speeches.
We also could use anyone who would like to be part of the staff: escorts, tabulators, timers, and even judges.
They receive prize money from our post for the first, second, and third winners.
They give memorized and impromptu speeches on the subject of the U.S. Constitution.

As a member of the military, today hits close to home. August 7th, Purple Heart Day is a time to honor those who were wounded or gave their lives in service to this country.

I've had the privilege of serving alongside some of the bravest people I’ve ever known, men and women who’ve shown incredible courage in the face of danger. Some wear the Purple Heart. Others made the ultimate sacrifice and are remembered through it.

Today, I remember them. I honor them. And I’m proud to stand among them.

Your presence at the Lehi City Cemetery to honor and remember our Veterans means so much.

We are deeply grateful to our Veterans for their service and sacrifice, and it is an honor to pay tribute to them throughout the holiday season with wreaths placed at the Veteran’s Memorial.

Wishing everyone a joyful holiday season. As we celebrate, let’s take a moment to honor and remember those who have served.

Tomorrow (Monday) is Veterans Day. A great day to display the flag. The 69th Annual Veterans Day concert will be at the Tabernacle on Temple Square. This event takes place Monday evening at 7:00pm. This event will celebrate all veterans who have served. This event is free admission and open to the public, seating is first come first serve. This event will also be live streamed on Facebook for those who are unable to attend in person. The concert features the combined high school choirs of the Granite School District, and the @ 23rd Army Band, with Sterling Poulson as the emcee.
