First night of VBS was a success. We had 122 in attendance tonight. Come join us tomorrow! Meal/registration starts at 5:15 in gym and pick up is at 8:30 from sanctuary. All ages. We even have an adult class!

Cooper Baptist Church will be hosting the 2nd annual Powerlift Meet by Pickering High School Power Lift Teem
held in the Family Life Center ~ June 27th "Lifting up in Faith" Opened to ages 13 to 99 and all High School Powerlifters.

Weigh in starts at 8:30 am to 9:0 am Lifting starts @ 10 am
Will be competing in the Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. Just like the Louisiana High School Powerlifting Association.

Maxi Lifters 45; RAW MEET ONLY
Required /Accepted Gear: Singlet/T shirt w sleeves/Belts/Wrist Wraps/Knee Sleeves/Deadlifting Socks - Proper undergarments for lifters in LHSPLA competitions.
Medals: 1st - 5th place in High School Divisions for Male/Female
1st- 5th place in Adult Divisions for Male/Female
Placing based on the WILKS Formula using body weight and total weight lifted.

EGGSTRAVAGANZA APRIL 4TH 10 am to 12 noon. Children ages 0 to 5th grade. Games, Food and Treats. Come celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Cooper Baptist Church will be having an Easter program called The Living Last Supper: The Homecoming Feast. It will be on Thursday April 2nd, beginning at 7pm. This will consist of the program and the taking of the Lord's Supper, as was done with Jesus and the disciples before Good Friday. After the program, we will be having fellowship with finger foods in our Family Life Center. If you know me or not, consider this your personal invitation. Resurrection Sunday is a great day to celebrate, but this week let's remember His sacrifice that He freely gave for us. Hope to see you there.
