Jesus's helpers have the decorations in place for our Christmas Dinner celebration Tuesday, December 9, at 6 p.m. All pastors and wives are cordially welcome to attend. The attire is casual Christmas, and each pastor and wife in attendance will receive a special gift.
Our guest speaker will be Dr. Mark Johnson, president of Louisiana Christian University (formerly Louisiana College), accompanied by his lovely wife Heather.

Many years ago, a young friend, Pastor Tanner Kratzer preached a message on Passover that is still impacting my life. One point in particular that he made is simple, but so profound. He said, "When the Angel from God visited the houses of the people living in Egypt, Egyption and Hebrew, he looked for the blood on the doorpost. He didn't stoop to look into the windows to see what was on the TV. He didn't look for diplomas on the walls. He didn't pause to listen to what kind of music was coming from the stereo. No, he looked only for the blood of the lamb. If the blood was applied, the household was spared. The application of the blood of the lamb was the ONLY thing that mattered."
