Monday morning prayer...Holy Spirit, we come to you this day to lift up our prayer and praise to you. We know that you call us to be together in worship and to be together in spirit. Help us to be guided by your care for us all so that we can work together and work through things together. We lift up to you those that are in need of your healing touch this day. May you wrap your arms of caring around them all and may they feel your spirit within them. We lift up to you those that are dealing with hatred and violence; natural and man-made disasters; and the challenges or questions of faith. Bring us all together in your Spirit, whether we are all sitting in one place or spread out across the world. In Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We are participating in the Leesport Community Days on September 11th and 12th. We are in need of volunteers. We are also having a bake-sale as part of our stand. Please sign up in the Sunday school hallway to help participate for 2 hour time periods and/or to bake something for the bake sale. See the charts below for the times available.

Monday morning prayer...Guiding Light, we come to you this morning to be lifted up when we are down. We come together to support one another and to share in the joys and sorrows of our community. We ask that you will help us to take risks. Let us not get bogged down by the crosses that we carry, but let us lift up those crosses to you. We do our best to serve you in good faith, but we sometimes get distracted or challenged and then we don’t follow through. Help us to be encouraged by your Spirit and one another so that we can do good things in our community. Help us to see you in everything and everyone, so that we can treat one another with respect and care. We ask that you will place your hands of healing upon those that are in need of your comfort and strength. Lift up the broken and encourage the struggling. Guide our hearts and lift our spirits. Here our prayer, O God, and grant us your peace. In Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
