🤎 A Pastor who doesn’t control you may sometimes make you “FEEL” abandoned.

Let that sink in…

For many, the only “covering” they’ve ever known was actually CONTROL. So they confuse domination with discipleship. They mistake manipulation for mentorship. So when a healthy leader releases freedom, it feels like NEGLECT when in reality, it’s the highest form of trust.

🤎A controlling pastor babysits your flesh.
🤎A healthy pastor equips your spirit.
🤎A controlling leader keeps you dependent on them.
🤎A healthy leader points you to dependence on God.

That’s why some people leave healthy churches frustrated they’re addicted to control and allergic to freedom. They want someone to micromanage their life instead of teaching them to walk with the Holy Spirit themselves.

But don’t miss this revelation ... Freedom will always feel like abandonment to those who have only known bo***ge. Just because your leader isn’t policing you doesn’t mean they don’t care it means they trust God’s hand on you.

If you can’t thrive without being chained, you were never growing you were just groomed to stay stuck. Real shepherds don’t raise prisoners, they release Nation Shakers!
