Calvary Chapel Leesburg is a warm & welcoming church that is friendly to both the seasoned Christian, and those who aren't quite sure why they should even attend church. At Calvary Chapel of Leesburg, we "simply teach the Bible simply." Sermons generally work through one book of the Bible at a time, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. The goal is that the Word of God would be plainly understoo
d, with an emphasis on "How can I apply the Bible's teachings to my life this week?" Our purpose is to glorify Jesus Christ, and obey His teachings and commands. Service Times: Sundays at 10am
Monthly Home Fellowship Group: usually the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6-8:30 pm, at a member's home. If you are interested please attend a Sunday morning service and ask Pastor Ron for details on when and where. SENIOR PASTOR: Ron Stauffer
Ron Stauffer is a relatively new pastor. Ron has been a businessman since 1984, working in medicine, sales, and construction management. For a few years he worked in Prison Corrections. When Ron moved to Florida in 2013, for a new job, he joined Calvary Chapel of Leesburg. At that time the church had a volunteer pastor, who travelled here each weekend from Calvary Chapel of Melbourne, FL. After some time Ron was asked to become an elder. Then, when the pastor needed to move to another state, he and the elders asked Ron to become the new full time pastor of CCL in 2014. Pastor Ron is a graduate of the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary, in Fresno, CA (now called Fresno Pacific Seminary). Ron and Ruth married in 1982 and have born and raised 9 children. They live on a small farm outside Leesburg. Our church might be described as culturally informal, and doctrinally conservative.
