Faith Chapel cemetery volunteers needed Monday morning!

We have a meaningful and interesting way to help preserve Faith Chapel's historic cemetery coming up this Monday, August 31. Howard Wellman, a professional historic cemetery conservation expert, will be spending the day with us at Faith Chapel as part of our work with the Loudoun Cemetery Conservancy.
Beginning at 10:00 AM, we'll walk through the cemetery with Howard as he evaluates the historic headstones and gives us recommendations for their repair and preservation.
We are in need of 2–3 volunteers to help with things like recording notes on a laptop, keeping us organized as we move from stone to stone, and generally being an extra set of hands and eyes.
Fair warning: it's going to be hot! ☀️ We'll have plenty of cold water and lemonade, but dress comfortably, bring sunscreen and a hat, and plan accordingly.
