Since sometime last year, we have had two projects on our hearts to complete in Crown Kids: A revived hangout space downstairs and an updated kids space upstairs.
Early this year we were able to complete our Fishbowl (the glass area to the right of our kids counter where you see your kids playing before they're picked up) with some amazing creative help!
Our project upstairs was no different. We had tons of help from all over the church during our work day, including kids! Thank you from the bottom of our heart for everyone who was able to help make this project happen whether you were upstairs or moving something in our Little Crown Kids area!
Things we were able to accomplish with help: Moving our extremely heavy play place to a better location in the room, Two different height basketball goals for silent foam basketball, an outdoor game area complete with fake grass, a hangout area with benches and seating, AND a new location for our media booth in the center of the room- complete with a new electrical line.
We also had help moving junk to different areas in the building to clean up our space, lights changed in our downstairs resource room and downstairs hallway, and items moved in our new baby room and play room.
We're not done yet! We have one more top secret station to build in the next couple weeks upstairs, and if we can swing it, we have paint in our future as well.
