October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we are so thankful for our pastor, Pastor Jeremy! ❤️

There is so much that goes into faithfully shepherding a church that many people never see—the hours of prayer and preparation, the phone calls, hospital visits, difficult conversations, early mornings, late nights, and the constant responsibility of caring for the people God has entrusted to you.

Pastor Jeremy, thank you for faithfully preaching God’s Word, loving our church family, serving even when no one is watching, and continually pointing us back to Jesus. Your leadership, sacrifice, and heart for Mt. Hebron Baptist Church do not go unnoticed.

Throughout the month of October, we hope you’ll join us in showing Pastor Jeremy just how much he is loved and appreciated. A kind word, a card, a prayer, or a simple “thank you” can mean more than you know.

💕 A Joyful Celebration for Our Church Family💍

Our church family is excited to celebrate a very special blessing!

We are thrilled to share that Hayden Keith, son of Pastor Jeremy and Kourtney Keith, became engaged to the love of his life, Jada Parker on Friday, July 17, 2026.

We praise God for bringing these two together and rejoice as they begin this exciting new chapter. We are grateful for His faithfulness and look forward to watching Him continue to guide their lives and future marriage.

Hayden and Jada are planning a Summer 2027 wedding.

🎓Graduate Recognition🎓

This morning, we had the privilege of recognizing Liz and celebrating her incredible accomplishments!

Liz has been awarded a full-ride scholarship to UAB and will be attending this fall. We are so proud of her hard work, dedication, and the bright future that God has prepared for her.

More than her academic achievements, we are thankful for the faithful way she has served our church. Her sweet spirit, willingness to help, and love for the Lord have been a blessing to our church family.

🌷Join Us This TOMORROW

As we gather in the Lord's house tomorrow, Pastor Jeremy will be preaching a message titled “ Having an Attitude of Gratitude" from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

In a world that often focuses on what we lack, God's Word reminds us to:

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." (ESV)

As you listen to Brandon Lake's *Gratitude* today, prepare your heart to worship and thank the Lord for His goodness, faithfulness, and countless blessings.

There will be NO Sunday School.

We’ll enjoy Dinner on the Grounds immediately following service, so be sure to bring a covered dish and stay for fellowship!

He is Risen! ✝️

What a joy it has been to celebrate Resurrection Sunday with our church family today. There is no greater hope than the empty tomb and the promise we have through Jesus Christ—victory over sin, death, and the grave!

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

Our family is so grateful for the love, encouragement, and faithfulness of this church. It is an honor to serve alongside each of you as we seek to grow, worship, and share the good news of the risen Savior.

Today reminds us that no matter what we face, our hope is alive because He is alive!
