Becoming a Leader

There is special service, chiefly of leadership, requiring brain qualities as well as heart. But the Master attends to the choosing of men for such service... God wants the best we have. He needs the best. And for leadership often His plans must wait till man of the sort needed can be gotten. And gotten frequently means , , and then , that the native strength may be used according to true standards.

WHOEVER ASPIRES TO BE AN OVERSEER DESIRES A NOBLE TASK. NOW THE OVERSEER IS TO BE ABOVE REPROACH, FAITHFUL TO HIS WIFE, TEMPERATE, SELF-CONTROLLED, RESPECTABLE, HOSPITABLE, ABLE TO TEACH, NOT GIVEN TO DRUNKENNESS, NOT VIOLENT BUT GENTLE, NOT QUARRELSOME, NOT A LOVER OF MONEY. 1Timothy 3:1-3

One of the most critical questions we'll ever ask ourselves is "What Am I Pretending not to Know?"
When we are in denial, we are actually lying to ourselves. We are pretending something is the case rather than dealing with Reality. It's the art of the cover up, except it's not really covered up, because we carry it.
Are you pretending not to know you unhappy in the church you're attending?
Are you pretending not to know you unhappy in your relationship?
Are you pretending not to know you are strong and gifted so other people feel comfortable?
The pretending will cost you years of delay in finding your path. We convince ourselves something is okay and find ourselves tolerating what we are denying. We Pretend that we don't know that we can change anything we choose to change.
A decision must be made to stop being in denial!
Each morning you rise, you are gifted with two powerful things: The and the fact you are .

A PRAYER FOR WOMEN

MAY OUR HEARTS BE RESILIENT AND NEVER WEARY IN WELL DOING. MAY WE UNDERSTAND, WITH EVERY STEP WE TAKE, THAT GOD IS FOR US AND WILL NEVER LEAVE US OR FORSAKE US. MAY WE BE WISE, AND BE WILLING TO SEEK GOD IN NEWFOUND WAYS. MAY OUR FAITH GROW BIGGER AND WIDER THAN OUR EXPECTATIONS EVER THOUGHT IT COULD GO. MAY WE EXPECT THE ENEMY BEFORE HE COMES, AND MAY GOD CHARGE OUR SPIRITS TO BE STRONG AND FEARLESS. MAY WE SPEAK TO OUR MOUNTAINS, AND TRULY BELIEVE THEY CAN MOVE AND THEY DO SO. MAY THE DOORS OF OUR PURPOSE AND PROMISE BE OPENED. MAY WE REPRESENT GOD IN OUR STORMS INSTEAD OF LETTING OUR STORMS REPRESENT GOD. MAY WE FIGHT WITH OUR FAITH. IT IS SO AND SO IT IS.

Reign Children's Outreach Ministry will be in Georgetown at the Corner of Bentley and Lee Avenue. All kids shirts, any size or color will be $5 today, only $5!!! Adult shirts up to a X-large are $10 today with an additional $2 for colored. Also, All other Christian favors are half-price(Bags, necklaces, scarf charms, etc.) Have a wonderful and blessed day!
