Our old church building that was seized from us in federal court by a greedy denomination a few years ago, is on the market. Red China bought the building for $62,000. They put in a very big electric entrance and have listed it for sale at $225,000. That pic is a Christmas concert from about 8 years ago. The man who donated the land passed away last year at 102 years of age. We're trying to get it back.

Our old building is now owned by the Chinese. I stopped today and tooka photo of the large electical servive being installed. The other four large buildings the Chinese bought in our town all have had large increases in electric power installed. All bulldings have black plastic over the inside of the windows. I wonder what they are doing in there.

In the spring, we will begin begin planning for a new church building. Last time, in 1984, we had land donated to us. We built a very nice church building which was stolen from us because we became involved with a denomination that makes a business of stealing church buildings. We will NEVER do that again. The early Christian churches were nondenomonational. They just put the sign of a fish on their homes or places of worship. You see them as window stickers on cars today.

Step one is to find a piece of land big enough for a large church building and a large parking lot. We would start small with the intent to expand later. The original building would need to be easy to heat. We know how to do that here. Encouraging prayers appreciated.

Our forefathers built churches and their pastors were often the militia captains in their villages.The church where I grew up will celebrate its 300 year anniversary next year in the spring. The militia captain and minister was Job Cushing. The Redcoats referred to the colonial ministers as "the black robed regiment" because they had the effect of a full regiment. The black robed regiment still exists today.

I just read today, that Dr. Wally Poto passed away on July 28. He was the son of Joan Comee, a long time member of our church. Wally was physicaly disabled by a stroke some years ago, but his good humor and kindness continued until he was taken by another stroke. Wally will be missed. He friended those without friends, counceled those in need of counceling and gave medical advice to those who did not understand their ailments. Beyond being a gentleman, he was a gentle man. He will be interred with military honors in a national cemetery near Springfield, Mass. RIP, Wally.

From the Deacon's Desk: The elders know what is coming. Our nation is unprepared for what is coming. Two nations that were very prosperous were Southern Rhodesia and Venezula. Southern Rhodesia is now Zimbabwe. I have a $1,000,000 bill from Zimbabe. It cost me 58 cents. You can buy a million dollar Venezuelan bill for about a dollar, US. How did this happen? They simply printed money far faster than their economy grew. It happens every time it is tried. After WWI, a wheel barrow full of Grman marks was worth a few loaves of bread if you could find the bread. Brothrs and sisters, it is time to hunker down and prepare to ride out what is coming. This Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, take a few minutes to watch the revival that took place last time we had a depression in our nation:

A FLORIDA COURT SETS
ATHEIST HOLY DAY
In Florida , an atheist created a case against Easter and Passover Holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians and Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days. The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring, "Case dismissed!"

The lawyer immediately stood and objecting to the ruling saying,
"Your honor, How can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others.
The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays..." The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counselor, is woefully ignorant." The lawyer said," Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists." The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fool’s Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that, if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore,
April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned.."
You must love a Judge that knows his scripture!
