❤️ What makes a church?

Is it good sermons?
Great worship music?
Bible study?

Those things matter—but church should never be just a place you go on Sunday, punch your timecard, and head home.

Church is home.
Church is family.
Church is love.

What truly makes a church are the people.

It’s a place where your kids feel comfortable being themselves. Where the children sitting beside them become more like family than friends. Where people know your name, notice when you’re missing, celebrate the good days with you, and stand beside you through the hard ones.

It’s a place to grow in faith, worship together, laugh together, pray together, and simply do life together.

That’s the kind of church we want Lebo UMC to be. ❤️

So come join our church family.

Come cozy. Come comfortable. Come as you are.
Relax, bring the kids, find your place, and worship our Savior with us.

⭐️This week, we are excited to shine our **Children of Our Church Spotlight** on **Harlynn!**⭐️

Harlynn has such a kind soul and a one-of-a-kind laugh that can’t help but make everyone around her grin. ❤️ She brings so much personality and joy wherever she goes!

Harlynn is one busy girl! She is a **cheerleader** and participates in **volleyball, basketball, track, softball, and soccer.** 🏐🏀📣🥎⚽🏃‍♀️ No matter what she is doing, Harlynn strives to be better every single day. We love watching her determination, hard work, and kind heart shine through in everything she does.

Harlynn’s favorite Bible verse is **Jeremiah 29:11:**

*“For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”* ✝️

What a beautiful reminder for Harlynn—and for all of us—that God already knows the plans He has for our lives. ❤️

We are so blessed to have Harlynn as one of the wonderful **Children of Our Church!** Keep shining, Harlynn! 🌟

🌟 **CHILDREN OF OUR CHURCH SPOTLIGHT** 🌟
**Meet Carsyn!** 🏈🏀🥎🏊‍♀️

If there’s a sport to play or an adventure to be had, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll find Carsyn right in the middle of it!

Carsyn is active in **all things sports**. She enjoys swimming, softball, basketball, and is currently taking on **tackle football!** 🏈💪

When she isn’t on the field or court, Carsyn loves hanging out with her friends, driving the golf cart around Nana and Papa’s, and spending as much time with her cousins as she possibly can.

Between **camping, boating, sports, bike rides all over town with friends, and soaking up the sunshine at the pool**, Carsyn had one busy summer! ☀️🚲⛺️🚤 But she is truly enjoying the new school year and getting back into a routine.

One thing you’ll often see Carsyn carry with her—especially when it comes to sports—is her favorite Bible verse:

✝️ **Philippians 4:13**
*“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”*

And if Carsyn has anything to do with it, that verse is probably accompanied by a softball, basketball, football, or another sports logo! ❤️

We love watching Carsyn grow in her faith, try new things, work hard, and use the strength God has given her. We are so thankful to have **Carsyn as one of the Children of Our Church!** ⛪️❤️

🌟 Church Member Shoutout! 🌟

A big THANK YOU to Taylor Cartee for putting together these awesome visitor baskets for those who have stopped in to worship with us and listen to one of Pastor Shane’s sermons!

These baskets are such a thoughtful way to welcome our guests and let them know how happy we are to have them at Lebo UMC. ❤️

Taylor, thank you for taking the time to put these together and for helping us make everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome, appreciated, and loved!

We are so blessed by church members who see a need and jump right in to help. 🙌
