We’re excited to officially share the launch of the Compassion Center at 109.
Back in October, we told our church family about Justin and Mallory beginning a counseling work here at 109. What started as a conversation about care and support has continued to grow into something we believe God can use in a meaningful way—not just for our church family, but for our entire community.
The name Compassion Center comes directly from the heartbeat of who we want to be: people with a passion for Jesus and compassion for others.
The Compassion Center exists to walk alongside people in life’s hardest seasons through counseling resources, supportive community, and practical care. This includes professional, Christ-centered counseling, but the vision reaches beyond individual sessions as well. We hope this becomes a place where people can find encouragement, connection, group support, healing, and a way forward.
There are people all around us carrying burdens quietly. Our prayer is that this ministry helps remind people they do not have to walk through those seasons alone.
This is not about building something separate from the mission of the church. It’s an extension of it. A way to step toward hurting people with the love of Jesus in tangible and intentional ways.
This video shares more of the heart behind the Compassion Center and where we believe God is leading it.
